Competitor Rank: DA Tracking Available but Keyword Ranking Not Tracked?
-
I'm tracking a competitor who is very active and also very successful in terms of DA (via MOZ.) However, their domain shows up as "Not in Top 50" for every keyword ranking I track. I've verified via manual tracking of natural results (even with a proxy) that they are competitive with my rankings. It stands to reason that MOZ can track the domain because of the ability to monitor DA successfully. Is there any reason keyword rankings would be "cloaked" or unavailable to the MOZ algorithm when DA metrics are available?

Hi there Jan,
Thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry to hear that you might be finding some inconsistencies within our tool
Without knowing 100% of the KW and the url you are tracking, I am not exactly sure how to address this question to your liking (while respecting your client's privacy). However I can say that if they are being pretty successful on the DA side, mostly likely they will do well in certain rankings. Please keep in mind that our competitor's tracker uses exact match when it comes to extracting data for a url. For example, if you are tracking www.abc.com as a competitor, then our tool will only go out and look for instances where www.abc.com comes up on a KW search, so any other instances where it doesn't match the subdomain we will not report (i.e. non-www site).
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be glad to jump right on it!
Best,
Peter

Unsolved Keyword List Download
I'm just getting starting with MOZ Pro and I may be missing something simple. If MOZ says my site currently ranks for 9.1K keywords, is there a way I can download to CSV that 9.1K list? I have a MOZ Pro account, but haven't figured out how to do this. Thanks for the help!

Best Ways to Use Moz to Increase Rankings
Hello, I work for an online retailer and I have been using Moz for a few weeks now but have had limited success so I wanted to ask how I could better spend my time on this platform. I have been focusing heavily on the Page Optimization tool which has allowed me to rank high on the Google Shopping's Free Listings but it seems to have had little to no impact on the Google All search itself over those weeks. Perhaps I'm not utilizing it properly? I tend to focus on relevant keywords with high volume as identified by the Keyword Explorer tool. Alternatively, is there a Moz tool that might be more helpful? I can provide additional details or specific examples if needed. Thank you for your consideration,

Subdomain not showing up in ranking reports?
Hi Folks, Apologies for the newbie question here, but hope any of the experts here can help. Our blog resides on a subdomain, and our blog increasingly plays an important role in driving traffic to our site. However the subdomain does not seem to show up in our keyword rankings report on Moz pro. Does this report only include URLs on the main site? Is there a way to monitor how our blog ranks on our keywords somewhere else? Thanks in advance all! Regards Patrick

How does MOZ assign a keyword to a page in the On Page Grades by Keyword Ranking
I'm in the beta analytics tool. In the On Page Optimization > On Page Grades by Keyword section, there is a Keyword column with a keyword assigned to each URL on my site. http://analytics.moz.com/search/on-page/572409.326269 How is the keyword that is shown here decieed upon? Is it simply based on a guess of the "best keyword" for each page based on kwp density and other factors? Can I map a new keyword to each page? or at least to my top ten most important pages? I see I can check the grade for any keyword on any page here: http://analytics.moz.com/search/manage-page-grades/572409.326269. I want to map my top ten pages to ten keywords - can I save these changes in the system so I don't have to manually check a keyword/url match each time? Shaun
