Search Engine Submission

Is it not sufficient to submit url (abc.co.uk) in **google.com **if to promote in UK or it has to be submit in google.co.uk? Is Google not updating his info from one domain to another automatically or it has to be submitted manually in every region? If it updating automatically then how much time it is taking for replication/to reflect.
One of site (abc.com) is coming in google.com but it is not coming when checking in google.co.uk
Kindly suggest.

Good tip, thank you

We've also found putting the google+ button on the page helps to get it indexed faster.

You don't have to submit urls to the main search engines anymore (in the US and Europe anyway). All you need is to get google to craw it either by a backlink or submitting at sitemap in webmaster tools. To answer your question, it does not matter if it google.com, .co.uk or even .ie
If you google search "site:abc.co.uk" you can see all the pages that have been indexed by google
If your site it not ranking in co.uk its because you have not given the right signals to google to rank it in UK. Have you setup webmaster tools and get the target county to UK? (note this might drop rankings in .com(usa))

GWMT / Search Analytics VS OpenSiteExplorer
Just had the experience of using OSE data to show what we call "linkrot" to a client -- only to find that GWMT / Search Analytics shows no such thing. Fortunately the client is an old friend and no face was lost, but it was dicey there for a bit as I have come to rely on and reference OSE again and again and again, OSE showed Domain Authority dropping by about 1/3 in the last 12 months, presumably due to old links getting broken, linking sites changing their architecture etc. And of course, ranking is tanking, as you would expect. But Google shows many more (and much more spammy looking!) backlinks. Has anyone had any experience benchmarking the 2 data sets of backlinks against each other? Dr Pete?

Search Volume for a Keyword
I assume this questions has probably been covered many times, if so I am sorry for asking it again, for whatever reason, I am not finding the answer I require, so I would appreciate some help. I would like to know the search volume for a keyword. I remember I used to get this information on Google Adwords account, it no longer displays it the same. I want to know if Moz or even Google for that matter provide this tool in a simple way. So if I entered a keyword, I would get the volume of searches Globally as well as locally either on a per month or a per day basis and it would be broken down as exact match or broad etc. This was a great feature before. I would love to access the same thing again. Thanks you.

How do you run ranks now for clients that aren't in your local area now that Google customizes search results based on location?
How do you run ranks now for clients that aren't in your local area now that Google customizes search results based on location? What tool/service have you found that gives accurate rank results? To me it seems like there is no guaranteed global #1position any more, or is this the situation for only certain types of searches? Likewise how can anyone tool give a global accurate rank score?

Need advice interpreting these changes in my search traffic
I've recently made a few changes to my site based on some advice from the seomoz tool. I've noticed some changes in the traffic data (see attached image) which I can't completely explain. First, the good news is that total organic search visits is up 2%. I assume this is the most important metric and I'm obviously happy with total increase in organic search. At the same time the number of number of URL's entered on search is down 1%. I think this can be explained by the fact that I removed some duplicate pages (like archives that had the same content as the blog post pages, etc.) The part that I don't quite understand is that total number of non paid keywords sending search is down 3%. That seems like an unexplained decrease that I can't really account for. Any ideas on how to interpret this? Is it also possible that a single week's results can be misleading about how well your SEO efforts are paying off? 20120711-j4ti8ynwi1hn4rbrsppe167m6.jpg

SEOmoz Keyword Ranking - Does it work for local search?
I was just wondering how SEOmoz calculates keyword rankings up and down every week. Shouldn't there be a way to have SEOmoz calculate rankings on a Local and Non-Local Basis? For example I have "Local Dentist" as a keyword in SEOmo for my dental client. SEOmoz shows that we are not in the Top 50. | Local dentist Keyword History Ranking Analysis | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 5 | If I change my location in Google browser to the zip of where the office is located, we

show up in position 14(for the home page) & 15 (for an inside page) How can I show the keyword rankings to my client if the keyword ranking report doesn't reflect searches done in my clients local area?0 -
Where do I find "URLs Receiving Entrances Via Search" and "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" in Google Analytics?
These are two metrics highlighted in the "Organic Traffic Data" report in the PRO campaigns. Since this report is composed of data linked from Google Analytics, I bet there's a way to find this same information in GA. So...anyone know how to do that in Google Analytics? I want this information for some long-tail productivity/potential research.
