Important G+ News: Google to End Forced G+ Integration, Cut Resources. What Does Everyone Think?
-
Assuming this article is accurate, I am glad this happened. I spent little time focusing on G+ because I truly felt there were better things to focus my time on. It was never well received by the public and SEO's (for the most part). I did not agree with its usability nor its philosophy. Its forced integration was annoying to say the least and I believe by forcing it down our throats, it turned many of us off.
I hope that G+ will no longer have any impact on ranking in SERPs. I never dedicated much time to gaining more followers and I hope that was the right decision. What does everyone think about this?

Any article starting with "according to" is never a great start lacking in facts. I'll believe it if i see it but i high doubt Google plus is going anywhere is far to valuable to Google to let it go. People leave jobs come join new jobs not a reason to start fearing the world is going to collapse.

How do I quickly check which keywords Google index YouTube videos for on first page?
I'd like to create YouTube videos since they can be a good way to rank for certain keywords. So I'd like to find a way to QUICKLY know which of the thousands of keywords I have are most likely to result in a first page result for my video. Is there a tool or technique you can recommend for quickly identifying the keywords I should target?

Does a 301 redirect pass along Google +1's from the old url to the new one?
When I 301 redirect a page that has content that has been +1'ed by our visitors, I would assume that Google would handle a +1 the same as a link and pass this authority along to the new url. Has anyone had any experience or heard directly from Google confirming this behavior?

Find Facebook Likes and Google +1's Across An Entire Domain?
Does anyone know a good way to find the number of Facebook Likes or Google +1's across an entire domain? It looks like SEOMoz only shows these metrics for individual pages.
