Looking for a different path to generating simple backlinks to websites using competitive analysis from MOZ. Anybody have any ideas.

Best Name for Business and Backlinks / SEO

Sorry if this is a basic question I should know the answer for. We have just acquired the .org for a moderately well searched keyword set. Our objective is to fight for rank specifically on this one set of two keywords. We want make sure our site is setup and business named optimally for this. Here is my question. What is the best business name for SEO and keyword rich backlinks, or anything else I'm not thinking of? KEYWORDS: Blue Widget DOMAIN: BlueWidget.org BUSINESS NAME OPTIONS: A) simply BlueWidget.org. We like this but do we lose some benefit of "Blue Widget" with a space on backlinks? **B) Blue Widget Foundation. Is this better because people will reference us by the keywords with a space "The Blue Widget Foundation", instead of "from the people at BLUEWIDGET.org"? ** Am I missing anything important here in the name? We just want to start everything off on the right foot. Thank you Moz. Just joined and my first post.

Best On-Site Internal Linking Practices?

Hi everyone, Our company works extensively with ecommerce website, and we're beginning to wonder with all of the impending Google updates what our best bets for internal linking practices will be, in particular when it comes to menu options. We typically set up our navigation with top-level categories in the main menu, then drop downs to the sub-category level pages. Our question is, should the links in the drop-down menus be followed, and if so, should they be followed links across all pages of the website, or just on the homepage menu list, or not at all? We're trying to figure out what will pass the most internal linking power without being too much and overly "spammy," I guess. Thanks for your input!

What is the best way to seek out good incoming links?

I get "form letter" type requests for links all the time from companies whose product has absolutely no relationship to mine. I always decline them. But I really want to build up link juice, and I'm wondering how to begin. Is the "form letter" all right to send or should it be more personal? I sell tablecloths; I assume I should go to home decor companies? Thanks in advance!

Strange baclinks

I'm helping out a friend with his legal blog, and in checking OSE I found scores of backlinks that appear paid, but he says they've done no link buying at all. Here are a couple of examples: http://solidinspiration.com/odhkj/degry.php?b=317022
http://retservilo.com/wzkuz/koex.php?u=391050 They don't look like the typical paid link sites because of the number of links on the page, and the fact they're not all hyperlinked and anchor text. Almost looks like hacked sites. Stranger still, they point to the non-www version of the site, and they have non-www redirected to www. Anyone seen this before? Thanks --
