Open Site Explorer classic view is gone??! where is it?
-
I used to use open site explorer classic view a lot for pitching clients - it was great for comparing a few competitors at once.
Now it seems to have disappeared - any idea where i can find it, or find similar functionality?
-
Thanks guys, this is perfect. You had me worried there for a second
-
Leonie is in fact correct! Never fear we wouldn't get rid of this view as we know how useful it is for everyone - https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/comparisons?site=moz.com. If you take a look at this link you'll see you can add some competitors and benchmark against the same data as you previously were able to.
We disabled the classic OSE view last night, sorry for any confusion! If you need anything further feel free to reach out to Moz Help Team via help@moz.com

Hi, If you click on the link: open site explorer and fill in an URL, there opens a navigation of Open site explorer on the left top there you can find the functionality. Link metrics ( i guess that's what you mean by compare competitors) is shown there.
Grtz, Leonie

Keyword explorer and relevancy
Hello, In the keyword explorer when I group keywords by lexical similarity should I only choose keywords that have a high relevancy to my seed keyword (the one I typed and want to rank on ? Let me give you an example. Let's say my seed keyword (the one I want to rank on) is "Alsace bike tours. With the keyword explorer I group the keywords and find the group " cycling in Alsace" (ok I take that one because it relevant to "Alsace bike tours" then I find "Strasbourg to Colmar by bike" I also take this one because it is also relevant to "alsace bike tours" but what about concepts like "Alsace wine region", Alsatian architecture, wines of Alsace, cuisine of Alsace or prettiest villages in Alsace... should I totally dismiss those from my content because they aren't relevant to my keyword "Alsace bike tours" or is it ok to use them but it won't help me at all ? Thank you,

How To Stop Moz Crawl From Prepending /blog/ on all our site urls that it crawls
Hello, At some time in the past our WP site had urls like this: www.oursite.com/blog/post-title-pretty-link The site has not used that url structure for quite some time, but Moz crawl is still hitting every post with /blog/prepended and as a result is generating thousands of 404s. When the /blog/ is removed from the url, then the urls work fine. Where are those old urls being stored and how can we update them? How do we address this issue? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks!

Why do i get multiple variations of my url with ?order=asc and ?view=list at the end of it in my crawl report?
I just did a crawl for one my clients to validate any error in the structure. Next thing I know is that the website have multiple variation of the same url with query like ?order=asc and ?view=list at the end of it. I am wondering why these url variations appears in the crawl I just did since bots aren't suppose to go further thant the ? normally. Just to show you a couple of url's of my crawl test. <colgroup><col width="484"></colgroup>

Has anyone had to deal with Moz crawl issues on their Zendesk support site?
If so - how did you end up resolving them? For instance we have 85 "temporary redirect" errors from our Zendesk support site in our crawl error report and we don't have access to the robots.txt file through Zendesk.

Is there anyway to track on-page grader grades for a site?
As opposed to going through the process of inputting the urls and keywords every couple of weeks, is there a way of Moz to send the scores for those keywords and the domain to which the url belongs?

Statistics for traffic gone
Hi everyone! For one of my campaigns the statistics are gone for all the inbound traffic. The main graph after logging in (with the different shades of blue) is just a flat line. This maybe comes from that I created a filter in google Analytics some weeks ago (so that I have some introspection into the used keywords that people search for). But also after the deletion of this filer in GA the statistics are still gone. What can I do? Cheers Marc
