Can I add all three branch locations of a small credit union to one Moz local listing, and if not, is it worth it to pay for three different local listings with MOZ?
-
Adding Moz local listing for a small credit union with only three branches. I am doing this to update their information across the web, but do not want to have to create three separate spread sheets and / or pay for three separate listings.
Is there a way to add all three branches to one listing? If not, is it worth the expense and does it help or hurt if you add three separate listings with the same name and phone number but three different addresses. We also do not want to set up more than one Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc, accounts.

Hi Mollie. Regarding Moz Local, the $84 charge is per location per year. If you've already created paid accounts with the sites where the branches are currently mentioned your cost will only be in hours by doing it yourself.
Regarding some of your location settings, there was a recent discussion here: http://moz.com/community/q/client-says-no-local-phone-number-all-locations-no-directing-to-centralized-call-center about the policy (Google's) around using a call center number versus branch specific numbers.
Listings in general need to be as specific possible in order for people to interact with locations. When you're talking abut mobile users, not having listings that are individualized would likely result in poor map listings and poor walk-in-mobile traffic. You'll likely want to do a cost-benefit analysis of whether or not having your branches listed individually and ranking well would bring in more than $252 / year. Cheers!

Unsolved How do you use placeholders in Moz Local Descriptions?
I noticed you can use placeholders in your business descriptions in MOZ Local such as |city|, |name|, etc. How do you effectively use these and how do they work on the directories? Thanks!

Incorrect client zip code in Moz Local
I have a client that I am pushing citations through Moz Local for. The business zip code in Moz is listed as 80111 and should be 80110. I have verified that the zip is correct on both Google My Business and Facebook. I'm not finding any duplicate Google pages either. Any Idea why this wouldn't push back to Moz Local?

Local Search and Moz Local Question
I'm using Moz Local for a few clients right now with good results. Was talking to a friend about using it for one of her web clients and a new scenario came up. The client does waste management and has a dozen locations in/outside of a metro area. She's been "trying to get their listing on Google Maps" without luck. After some probing, it turns out their main address for operations is in the metro area they are targeting, but they don't have waste facilities there and wanted to prevent customers from coming there. They actually use a PO Box for their contact information on their website and make no mention of the main address. Looking to see if anyone agrees with my proposed solution: Claim Google My Business listing for the main address in the metro area they're trying to optimize for. Use Moz Local to clean up their main listing (after a quick check, it's a mess) for the operations address. Update website contact info to include the main operations address, and make specific mention of which other addresses customers should/shouldn't go to for dumping/picking up equipment. So, the recommendation would be one Moz Local account. I figure no need to do listing for all of their other locations since they're just waste facilities controlled by the main listing. Does this seem like a plan?

Moz local is telling me that I don't have a Google+ listing when I actually do. What is the problem?
I have about 7 of my clients listings currently in Moz Local. It's showing that we don't have a Google+ listing when we actually do. Everything I have in Google My Business (NAP) matches what I have in Moz Local. It's a service based business and Google has recommended that we hide the address since consumers don't actually visit my clients location. Could that be the issue? If so, how do we take care of this?

Why is MOZ Local not finding any of my citations?
I ran a new client through the Moz Local Check My Listing and got this: It looks like your business wasn't found on any major search engines. My client's website and Google Plus page have been live for over a month and he is listed in almost 90 business directories; all verified, live listings. Both his Yelp and Home Advisor profiles show well in search as does his website in organic so I know Google is picking up on the business. Checked all the simple stuff like correct spelling, url, etc. Any thoughts? Is this just a matter of time? If so, how long will it take MOZ to find a new listing usually? I see there is a MOZ index update scheduled for the 28th. Should I run it again after that? Regards, Dino

Moz Local & Fourscare
Hi! I hope I didn't just mess myself up. I signed up for Moz Local, but I already had a foursquare account. I did authenticate it... but then I read that maybe I shouldn't have done this. Did I mess it up? If so, can I correct it?

Why don't the duplicate listings from the moz/local search show up on the moz/local dashboard
When I do a MOZ/Local search on the search listings tab I see all the listings with different information but they don't show up on the moz dashboard for the subscribed listing.

Fixing Duplicate Listings in Factual
Hey everyone, One our business listings is cited as having a duplicate listing in Factual in Moz Local. When you click on the "Fix Duplicate" button in Moz Local, it gives you a mailto: link that emails the Data Contributions team at Factual. I tried sending this team an email and received an automated response that read: "Thank you for your interest in Factual. We have partnered with a select group of Trusted Data Contributors (TDCs) to add, update, and manage business listings in Factual. We are no longer accepting contributions via email; instead, please work with one of our TDCs directly to update your data within Factual. The full list along with contact information can be found here: http://developer.factual.com/trusted-data-contributors/." So I'm caught in kind of a loop here. Am I just supposed to wait for Moz Local to push the correct data to Factual while Moz Local thinks that I'm able to fix it manually? Any and all suggestions and help is appreciated. Thanks,
