Why is my site ranking well on google but not on Yahoo and Bing?
-
For our site Boynton Law, we added it to be indexed on Yahoo and Bing but none of the keywords are showing up in the top 50 rankings. Why are our keywords not working on Yahoo and Bing, but on Google our keyword rankings for Boytnon are really strong?
-
How long ago did you add the sites to get indexed? I would suggest you check in Bing webmaster tools that the site has actually been indexed first.
From there you will need to allow some time before you can see real ranking results
-
Different search engines, different algorithms.
But forget about rankings. How is your traffic? That's what's actually important.

Hi David,
Without looking directly at your site (I wasn't sure if Boynton Law was the exact domain or not), one place to start would be Bing Webmaster Tools to make sure all of your information is accessible and being read by the search engine. Additionally, check Yahoo Local Listings & Bing Local Listings to make sure all of your business information is present, up to date, and consistent.
I am sure others will have more insight, but this could be a good place to troubleshoot any initial issues.

SERPs for English search terms in Google.es show NY and USA companies?
Hey Mozzers, I'm working for a client offering legal services in Spain for people from the UK. When I search 'legal services' in Google.es all the SERPs show sites from the US - mainly NY: https://www.google.es/search?source=hp&ei=tRbXWqzRDoSZsgGY6rmgCA&q=legal+services&oq=legal+services&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0l10.2835.4435.0.4512.15.10.0.0.0.0.297.1445.0j4j3.7.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..8.7.1444.0..0i131k1j0i10k1.0.clK-EZ4vVWk There are lots of Spanish sites translated into English and showing sites in Google.es such as http://www.lsosm.org/ offer no value - it's a very weird SERP - any ideas why? Thanks Bush

Site not visible on SERP
Hi all, I helped a client on launching his website for a new startup : www.blubridge.com. The site is not visible at all on Google, even on the startup name. I wonder why is that... There was a mistake while building the site, they used a dev site www2.blubridge.com which was indexed by Google. The 301 redirected has been done, however, there is still pages indexed by Google for the www2, and the www is still invisible on SERP... Does someone know how to solve that ?

E-commerce site Content guidelines
Hi Everyone. Im the owner of a mens underwear company start up I have heard so many things about content on e-commerce sites that I'm at a point where I have no idea what to believe people tell me do a blog, but honestly on a start up who has time for that? plus we are not shedding money to hire a full time employee to take care of that. I have inserted text related to the category i try to keep my ratio below 7% and under 120 words. but is that enough? I have seen sites ranking #1 under mens underwear with way less content or almost non existent. Any comments would help me a lot. Thanks R

Using Google key word tool to reseach key words for a site
I have using Google’s key word tool to generate potential Keywords for our site. I have been focusing mainly on the information in “Local Monthly” searches (with the country being set to “New Zealand” as we are not looking to sell internationally. With regards to selecting the Key words for our site is it a matter of simply focusing on the ones that rank highest or are there other variables, in the key word tool I need to allow for. Note at this stage we are not looking to under take a PPC campaign. Thanks for you help Pete

Strong Keywords with Zero Returns in Google's Traffic Estimator
Hi: I have a dilemma and have not been able to find a good answer anywhere - and I have looked. 🙂 Gather up a bunch of keywords from Google's Keyword Tool that have tens of thousands of queries per month for local and global. When I plug the same keywords into Google's Traffic Estimator, even with a high bid (over $2) and a high daily budget ($50-100), I get all zeros returned from Traffic Estimator for columns Estimated Average CPC; Estimator Ad Position; Estimated Daily Budget, etc. Can someone please explain why this is the case? Is it because the keywords themselves, despite in some cases having hundreds of thousands of monthly searches, are low competition and therefore have no real value in Adwords? Thanks for your input and views, Phil

Ranking Changes: Google.co.uk vs Google.com vs Google.com.au?
Why would my website appear, for example, second for a keyword search on Google.co.uk but on a search through Google.com or Google.com.au (Australia) not appear in the Top 50? Excuse the simplicity of the question!

Google Search Volume Disparities
Hello, I have been researching search volumes for awhlie now for key terms related to my industry, as well as working towards better rankings for those terms that have higher search volumes using on-page optimization, external link anchor texts, etc. The only tool I use for this research is the Google keyword tool. Today when I was looking at the keyword difficulty for a particular term (first time I

had used this tool in my SEOMOZ account), I saw how the search volumes are listed for both broad and exact match from Google's API. As I said I've based my strategies around results from Google's keyword tool, but now I see that, for a particular term that I have been focused on, there are 15,000 searches for "broad" match and 91 for "exact" match. I just checked the keyword tool at Google and there is apparently no way to set a keyword up to search for its "exact" match search statistics. Is this only available using their API? I'm on the floor here. Does this mean I've been optimizing for a term that has less than
a hundred searches a month as opposed to 15,000? If so, can anyone here reccommend any search volume tool that can deliver a higher degree of accuracy so I can make better
judgements regarding how I will spend my time and effort regarding SEO (and in fact,
to some degree, my budget for PPC)? Any help provided will be much appreciated. Mike0
