We are seeing a tremendous amount of traffic coming to our site from this traffic source. Does anyone know what this is and if it's spam how to remove it?

It's spam, see the following blog post - https://moz.com/blog/stop-ghost-spam-in-google-analytics-with-one-filter with some great tips to help get rid of it.

They never visit your site and it wont affect your rankings but the above post will help with suggestions how to not see if. My personal favorite is to create a filter (Conditions>Filter, Session, Exclude> URL(s)) it's great for a quick at a glance with out the spam affecting the real numbers.

Hi! First question: I am wondering if it's possible to track two buttons with the same code in Google Tag Manager without changing the code? There are different page URL's.. Second one: My tags are displayed in Google Analytics as 'events'. When I put the events in 'goals', the number of times it fired differs from my events. Someone who can help me with this issue?

Bounce Rates: Leaving my domain.com/blog to shop on mydomain.com counts as bounce rate?

Hello! I have a kind of difficult question. On my main domain i have: Store: mydomain.com and wordpress blog on mydomain.com/blog If I have a link to a specific product on my blog and user goes to the product on the store, will bounce rate increase or as it's the same domain will be like a new page view? Different CMS's and blog is on a different analytics account than the store. I hope i could explain myself! Thank you

Www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion_async.js what is this url doing on my site?

Hello Guys, I am using google tagmanager and i have configured adwords in tag manager now what i find is that this link - www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion_async.js showing on my homepage not in view source but when i do inspect element at that time it appears. Hello Expert, I am using google tag manager and google analytic is already configured in that now i just want to confirm when i do inspect element of my home page in that i can see this link - http://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js where as if i do view source of my page then it is not visible. so what is this link - www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js and what role it play? Can anyone tell me what this means? "We have detected that the root domain xxxxxx.com does not repsond to web requests. Using this domain, we will be unable to crawl your site or present accurate SERP information"

Google Analytics for example.com and www.example.com

Hello. I have had a Google Analytics account set up to track the property www.example.com for several years. In Google Webmaster Tools, I recently set the preferred domain to example.com (without the www), and we put in a rewrite from www to no-www in the .htaccess file. Should I now change the url of the property in Google Analytics to example.com (without the www), or does Google Analytics see the two urls as the same? Thank you!

Newbie Need Step by Step to Track .ca Domaine Redirect from GoDaddy to .com

I, I ask a few time about how to track using Google Analytics, my domain, www.pilatesboisfranc.ca bought at GoDaddy and redirect from the GoDaddy control panel to my domain, http://www.pilatesboisfranc.com/ I don't know anything about coding or webdesign, I did this web site from a theme on wordpress for my wife opening this Pilates Studio in our neighbourhood soon. http://www.pilatesboisfranc.ca/ is advertise on our car.(it will be nice to see if that advertising is worth it!) http://www.pilatesboisfranc.ca/ is redirect from GoGDaddy control panel to the site: http://www.pilatesboisfranc.com/ I had a few answers on this forum, but I'm not sure how to do this. My knowledges are very limited in html and all technical side. Thank to WordPress, Lynda.com and Theme Forest. Those are the tools I took to built this basic web site. Can any body help me track this .ca? I will need a step by step guide to achieve my goal. Google Analytics is instal on the site. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you, BigBlaze
