Correct Schema data for oral/facial surgeon
-
Hi friends,
I'm having trouble deciding which schema data is correct for a client who has does both dentistry type services (dental implant, remove wisdom teeth, all on four - but is not a full service dentist) and also provides surgical services (maxillofacial surgery)
I cannot decide between these
- https://schema.org/MedicalSpecialty
Which would you choose?
-
Hi there.
Since there is no specific subcategory, which would satisfiy both, use this one https://schema.org/MedicalOrganization

Inputting Schema for Website When Using a Markup Generator
Hi Guys, I think this may be fairly straightforward but couldn't find an answer online. I wish to input Schema on a website and have generated the JSON-LD markups for a local business. 1. Do I just add this into the header and if so should it be at the start or end? 2. Do I just add to the homepage? 3. If I have multiple markups (Local Business, Website, etc.) do I put them all in one header Thanks! Jack

Is Local Search Data Included in Google Search Console?
Is local search data Included in Google Search Console? Or is it only in Google My Business? I'm having a hard time distinguishing what exactly is included in Google Search Console's reporting.

How to fix directions to a place on Apple Maps, when the location itself is correct.
Hello Community, I do local SEO for our health system. I recently claimed and adjusted the marker on Apple Maps to our Emergency Room. I assumed since there's a road that leads right to it, the directions would change. But the directions send them to the front of the hospital building (instead of the emergency room entrance). Unfortunately, there is no way to get to the ER through the front of our hospital. So now I'm trying to fix the directions itself. I've searched through Apple Forums etc. looking for a solution without success. Any ideas on how I might fix the directions? Here is the exact location in case that helps. https://mapsconnect.apple.com/business/ui/editPlace?id=66160ad6-d915-11e6-b4a6-d3fec844f2f3

Schema type for non-profit fundraiser?
Anyone have bright ideas for which schema.org type to use for something like a run/walk fundraiser? Ive been using SportsEvent, but that's really more fit for, "I'm buying a ticket to watch the team play the football game at the stadium." What we're trying to do is sign folks up to create their own fundraising webpage, then show up at an event. Google wants ticketed events to have a performer, but this is more like RSVPing for a party. Events and products feel a bit like a round peg in a square hole, but Website seems really generic for everything going on in this kind of site. At the same time, participants are creating fundraising pages...yeah it's related to a location/time-based event, but visitors aren't really buying tickets to watch that runner "perform," they're donating to a non-profit to fight cancer. And think about applying the fundraiser to a non-sports event (e.g. donate your birthday, grow facial hair, be a secret santa, etc). Or a donation drive...those might have a product attached (kickstarter), or the giving itself might be the "product" (gofundme). Thoughts? Here's what I've mapped out at the moment, but I don't know how I feel about it.

Google My Business marker/pin - Do I have control over moving it?
I am working with a country club. We opened the Google my business account and Moz Local. i think the developer/builder of the Country Club planned on the address being in different place than it is today. Do I have control over moving that marker on this massive property. Or, is this done at the city/county level? The marker isn't quite near the building or the true entrance to the country club.

Ethics questions / discussion on SEO
Please forgive me if I'm asking too many questions. I'm new to MOZ and have a little bit of experience with SEO, but not that much at all. The question of the day pertains to using keywords that refer to another brand in order to bring search traffic to your site as well as compete on searches against your competitor. I'm certain this is not a unique case, however; it's early in the morning and my brain isn't working well enough to come up with a comparable example, so I will use my own situation. "Pop Warner" is a youth football brand. It's been around since 1929 and it's synonymous with youth football now. If someone is looking for a place to enroll their children, they will typically search for "%Town_Name%" + "Pop Warner" Pop Warner however; is not the only national governing body for youth football. The association (company) that I'm doing work for is an American Youth Football Program. Now, is it considered bad form, evil or whatever to optimize using a term such as "Pop Warner" on my site if I'm NOT affiliated with pop warner whatsoever? If the answer is yes, can you provide me with direction as to how this should be handled? If no...than I know how to handle it.

Is my Structured Data working?
Hello Everyone, I had previously added Structured Data for reviews for my product pages, which worked, and has slightly bumped up CTRs. Now, I am trying to get dates and locations to show up in the SERPs (Products are classes). Google's Structured Data Testing Tool shows that the data is being read without any errors, but I cannot seem to get them to show up in the preview (or actual SERPs). https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cleanedison.com%2Fcourses%2Fentry-level-solar-energy-training%2F If anyone could take a look and let me know if there is anything obvious I missed, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
