you can see my domain is getting tons of chinese spam.
I have 410'd the page but it still keeps coming..

Hi Matt,
Google probably will ignore all of these - they are pretty good at recognising spam like this, but to err on the side of caution, start to disavow the spam sites as Nick said. It's fairly easy to do if you haven't done it before, but I know you can build a disavow file from within Ahrefs.

Thanks, but the only reason they got linked was through a hosting change we did, the files were dumped in the process, theres no issues on the file side internally. The main issue is that the anchors are so wacked out, its going to be hard to fix the balance.

First, I would check your site for hacked content. My guess is that would be the logical reason for them linking to your pages. Go to your file manager and look for strange folders or files with a recent modified date.
Next you will want to compile a list of all these links and send a disavow request through Google Webmaster tools. You can follow the steps here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
Sorry for the misfortune. Best of luck getting back on track.

How to stop some continuous attacks on our website
Hi Fellow SEO Experts
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | leadstar0007
We would like to ask for your help in STOPPING some continuous attacks on our website.
It seems that we are constantly needing to Disavow these URL’S like http://www.econsultmgmt.com.my and http://www.unicontmt.com.br as they keep redirecting to our Sitemap. Is there any tool or any clever way to stop these constant and unwanted links to our sitemap please?
We have tried on MULTIPLE occasions to contact them and ask them to remove the content that has the hyperlinks back to our sitemap but without success ☹
Any assistance from our global colleagues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks & Regards, Manish0 -
Multilingual SEO subdirectories structure
Hi, I have to optimize a domain for Google for 3 languages (.com with subdirectories)(Dutch, German and English) content is only served on domain.com/nl, .com/de and .com/en NO CONTENT is served on domain.com.

How do I exclude domain.com from getting in Google? Because there is no content on the top level only on subdirectories. Is there a rule we have to add to htaccess? Or Robots.txt by disallow all and next lines allow /nl, allow /de and allow /en? Thanks a lot! Kind regards, Alain Nijholt0 -
Shopify and multiple stores for seo
Hi, We have a potential client who has multiple stores targeting different countries using Shopify. He has set the domains for specific countries using geo targeting in webmaster tools. Anybody had any experience on how fool proof this is? (all the sites have the exact same products/content on them) Thanks

Does having a ? on the end of your URL affect your SEO?
I have some redirects that were done with at "?" at the end of the URL to include google coding (i.e. you click on an adwords link and the google coding follows the redirected link). When there is not coding to follow the link just appears as "filename.html?". Will that affect us negatively SEO-wise? Thank you.

Images and SEO
Hi, I would like some opinions on the topic of using images for SEO. I have come across a few sites that I see have very few backlinks, but have decent pagerank and seem to rank well for certain keywords. One such site I looked at had very little content other than tons of images (It was a joke blog that focussed on funny images, funny pics etc) and now I am starting to question whether hotlinking images assists in SEO? are there any benefits to having someone using one of your images (hosted on your site) ? I do recall reading somewhere that someone hotlinking an image is akin to a link. Any truth in this?

Domain expiration and seo
My domain name is free with my service with yahoo but it expires every year and gets extended automatically as I continue service, how does this impact my seo efforts? I've heard that the search engines prefer sites to expire in 3 years or more? Is this a fact?

Renaming primary domain advice
Hi, We have a site www.anteater.com.au. It's a pest control company here in Sydney Australia. Now I've just renamed it to www.anteaterpestcontrolsydney.com.au yesterday for SEO purposes. I'm doing 301 redirects. My question is, is it worth it to do this? Will we have any advantage in the long run with just this URL change? Or would it be better to just leave it as is as www.anteater.com.au Any comments would be appreciated. Cheers.

Do interstitials hurt SEO?
If you go to www.homeportfolio.com and click on one of the links in the footer. you'll notice you are presented with an interstitial. Can you tell me if that hurts our SEO and if we lose any link juice or suffer in any other way as a result of this linking method? my main concern is whether having anchor text that says "bathroom ideas" that goes to an interstitial that doesn't mention bathroom ideas is non-relevant... even if it refreshes 12 seconds to a page that is.
