-
I have use category and Tags in my blogs. Now i have an problem with blog URL and Tags URL. My blog URLs is also show in Tags page and both the content is same.
For Example:
My Blog URL is: https://www.example.com/advice-how-to-do-batting
And Tag Page URL is : https://www.example.com/advice-batting in that -
https://www.example.com/advice-how-to-do-batting
The URLs contain same content. No should i write two different meta title and description for above two URLs pages. As there might more blog added under Tags pages with different topics and title.
Request on Thought Please.

Its recommended to noindex tags and category pages unless you add unique content to them (otherwise you are cannibalizing the individual post rankings). This is especially true if you only have 1 post in the tag/category and if you display the full text in the tag/category pages.
If you want to index and rank the tag/category pages:
- Add unique text to the category/tag page that describes the types of posts that are listed there + include target keywords
- Make sure it has a unique title and meta description
- Don't show the entire posts within the category/tag pages.. instead show excerpts and link to read more.

Referencing links in Articles and Blogs
Hi I am wondering if the tag in html is picked up by google as a reference point? I.e when you put a superscript in word it puts a small number next to your sentence. Then you have a list of reference at the end of the blog/article does google recognise this?

Should I enable trackback on my blog?
Hi, I received a notification that somebody posted a trackback comment and I am not sure about the recommended course of action. What is the SEO impact of accepting trackbacks on my blog? Should I simply ignore them or should I accept them? What I understand is that it means somebody linked to my blog (which is good) but do I get something out of posting the trackback in the comment section or am I just giving somebody a free link? Is that the same as if I was to link to another blog or does it carry some sort of a social recognition helping my site authority? Cheers Guillaume

Wordpress: Tags generate duplicate Content - just delete the tags!?
Asking people, they say tags are bad and spamy and as I can see they generate all my duplicate page content issues. So the big question is, why Google very often prefers to show in SERPS these Tag-URLS... so it can't be too bad! :)))? Then after some research I found the "Term Optimizer" on Yoast.com ... that should help exactly with this problem but it seems not to be available anymore? So may be there another plugin that can help... or just delete all tags from my blog? and install permanent redirects?

Redirect blogspot blog ?
Hi We have an ecom site selling childrens clothing. We startet up with a blogspot blog due to the lack of that option from our provider. I have a few links in to the blogspot blog and realized today that the PA is 39 - the PA of homepage of ecom site is 40. Ive lately been using the ..../blog on my ecom site. The functionality so far of it is so bad that i am considering using the blogspot blog again. How can i best utilize the strength of our blog at blogspot. Just keep posting w anchor text to relevant pages our main site? Is redirecting a possibility at all ? Dan Lærum

Parked Domain blog directory not redirecting
My newly parked domain name, (our main website had to switch primary domains) is not redirecting properly and is causing our blog to be duplicate content. My 301 redirects work for everything else, but our parked domain /blog directory is not redirecting. I can type in both urls and then the blog appears on both sites. Not good. If I delete my blog .htaccess file, then it redirects fine. However, then our blog links are broken. So it has to do something with our .htaccess files. I do have a .htaccess file for our website, saying redirect everything to correct location, so i think this is interfering, but I cannot pinpoint it. this is the .htaccess file for the blog.
