3 of my clients suddenly lost alexa and DA ranks.

3 of my clients suddenly lost alexa and DA ranks. Websites are active, created more than 10 years ago, and actively updated. About 5000 users each month. What could be the reason?
I want to note that we never spam. We do only holistic SEO and write only Unique articles. This looks very strange to me.
Any suggestions?

Alexa and DA are completely synthetic attempt by third-parties to try to guess what search engines might think of a website. Alexa, in particular, is a totally unreliable way of measuring the influence of most sites. If these measures have changed significantly, but with no change from your site's own data (e.g. Analytics, Search Console, careful rank testing etc) then it's far more likely that the third-party tools are having problems, not your site.
Put another way - those third-party tools are hints. If they indicate potential problems, you'll need to assess actual website performance to determine if there's a real problem, or if the 3rd party tools are misreporting.
Hope that makes sense?

Rankings go up and down, up and down, up and down
Almost every week we have more than a two dozen keywords that will all suddenly increase in rank only to then decrease in rank right back to where they were the previous week. This happens constantly despite the fact that we are doing very little SEO-wise on a week-to-week basis. What might be causing these constant shifts?

Apparent discrepancy on overseas Google results in Rankings
Probably a very noob question this ... I'm based in the UK and have just set up a campaign which includes Google US. There seems to be a discrepancy between some of the rankings found by SEOMOZ and what I see when I simulate the actual search using Adwords > Ad Preview. For example, a particular term shows "not in the top 50" for Google US on the rankings page of my campaign in SEOMOZ. But my US colleagues say that when they run the search they see us on page 1. And when I simulate the search via Adwords Preview, I also see our site ranking well on page 1. I'd like to understand why the discrepancy 🙂 Thanks for any advice. Gord

List ranking analysis for all keywords?
I would love to see the option of having the ranking analysis listed for all my keywords! As it it now I have to click and get the numbers one by one and manually create a spreadsheet in order to have an overview of which keywords to pursue. I want to see my google ranking for each keyword next to information on how many people search for that term (in my country of choice - google.xxx) and the keyword competition in % Please tell me there's a way to do this and save me a truckload of time!

SEOmoz ranking report SERP
I was wondering how SEOmoz the SERPs tracks? e.g. the SERP of keyword in the Google US report, doesn't give me the same result as https://www.google.com/search?pws=0&gl=us&q=keyword Does SEOmoz check the google.com SERPs from several locations and calculate an average?

Rankings Check and Googles Quality Guidelines
Hi, I am trialing SEOmoz at present. What i dont understand is how come the rankings check, which presumably involves sending requests to Google, doesnt contravine the Google quality guidelines and cause a website to be penalised. Sorry if being a bit dim - but if anybody could explain it would be really helpful cheers stayin

What time of day are keyword rankings updated
The keyword rankings in one of my campaigns update on Tuesday. It looks like they updated today but when I downloaded to CSV, some say last Tuesday. Is this because they didn't change or are they still updating? Today is Tuesday. i.e., do they update at a specific time and if so, what time?

How to see rankings for a group of keywords over time?
I have around 1200 keywords in an seomoz campaign, chopped into various groups using labels. I am interested in tracking how keywords perform over time, especially groups of keywords. As far as I can tell, in the seomoz tools I can only see historical performance for a single keyword at a time. Is there a way to get a historical performance graph of more than one keyword at once? We often run optimizations for sets of words, so it seems like you would have better stats looking at groups of words vs picking one at a time. Is there a way to export historical data for more than keyword at a time? (So I could graph and analyze this sort of thing myself) Does anyone have other suggestions for tracking rankings in this way? Thanks for any help!
