SEO strategies specifically for saas companies
-
For location specific businesses there are many tactics to locally optimize your business letting them rank higher than large companies. Are there any tactics/strategies specifically for saas companies?

Hi Martijn, thanks for the response. From a quick glance, it looks pretty basic, but I will dig in further when I have more free time. Also, interesting CMS options as my company is finally looking to add a CMS (subdomains have been SUCH a pain technically and logistically). I'll definitely have to check out Craft.

Hi,
This might be a shameless plug but earlier today John Doherty actually launched a whole guide on how to do SEO for SaaS businesses. You can find it here: https://www.getcredo.com/saas-seo-guide/
Martijn.

Any Website SEO Benefits from SAAS Linked Content?
An installed software application has a help section for users, and that help content is housed on the software company website. Would the links from the software application to the company website benefit the websites SEO efforts? Or, would no referring URL mean no SEO value?

Magento 1.9 SEO. I have product pages with identical On Page SEO score in the 90's. Some pull up Google page 1 some won't pull up at all. I am searching for the exact title on that page.
I have a website built on Magento 1.9. There are approximately 290,000 part numbers on the site. I am sampling Google SERP results. About 20% of the keywords show up on page 1 position 5 thru 10. 80% don't show up at all. When I do a MOZ page score I get high 80's to 90's. A page score of 89 on one part # may show up on page one, An identical page score on a different part # can't be found on Google. I am searching for the exact part # in the page title. Any thoughts on what may be going on? This seems to me like a Magento SEO issue.

I'm looking for an SEO company that has substantial experience with the Magento shopping cart system. I've gone thru MOZ.com's Recommended List but I'm unsure of who specializes in Magento. Thanks.

International SEO
Hi all, The company that I work for is planning to target some french (and some other foreign) keywords. The thing is, in our industry, you can't just hire someone to translate the content/pages. The pages have to be translated by an accredited translator. Here's the thing, it costs a LOT of money just to translate a few thousand words. So, the CEO decided to translate a few of our 'core' pages and SEO them to see if it brings results. My questions are, would it be possible from a technical point of view to simply translate a few pages? Would that cause a problem for the search engine crawlers? Would those pages be 'seen' as duplicates? Thanks in advance guys!

We are a small startup company looking at starting a complaints website in India having user generated content(complaints) . Would some one help me to draw overall strategies on how we can achieve good traffic over one year. We realise that there is no magic wand to improve positions in search ranking for a site which hosts user generated content esp. since we dont know what key words to target. In this context i was looking form some expert suggestion on how we can go ahead with the SEO for the next 1 year .. We are open to paying for the services if you prove that you have the required experience . Otherwise any suggestions from other who have experience in such situations are welcome ...
