Robots.txt

My campaign hse24 (www.hse24.de) is not being crawled any more ...
Do you think this can be a problem of the robots.txt?
I always thought that Google and friends are interpretating the file correct, seen that he site was crawled since last week.
Thanks a lot
Bernd
NB: Here is the robots.txt:

Hallo Bernd,
Of course, I agree with everyone else that you need to fix your robots.txt file.
However I'd also add the suggestion that you setup Google Webmaster Tools for your site. These will help inform you about crawl errors and your robots.txt file and might be helpful for you in future.
Also whilst having a quick look at your site I noticed some duplicate page title issues. Make sure you are tracking your site with SEOmoz's campaign tool. It will really help you find these types of issues.
Viel Glück!

Yep, You just made your site invisible! >.<
Personally I just disallow areas I don't want indexing and let all bots crawl.
User-Agent: *
Disallow: /whatever I don't want indexed
-
User-Agent: * Disallow: /
That is blocking every bot from crawling anything.
User-Agent: * = every robot Disallow: / = every directory

Blocking pages from Moz and Alexa robots
Hello, We want to block all pages in this directory from Moz and Alexa robots - /slabinventory/search/ Here is an example page - https://www.msisurfaces.com/slabinventory/search/granite/giallo-fiesta/los-angeles-slabs/msi/ Let me know if this is a valid disallow for what I'm trying to. Adding directories to robots nofollow cause pages to have Blocked Resources
In order to eliminate duplicate/missing title tag errors for a directory (and sub-directories) under www that contain our third-party chat scripts, I added the parent directory to the robots disallow list. We are now receiving a blocked resource error (in Webmaster Tools) on all of the pages that have a link to a javascript (for live chat) in the parent directory. My host is suggesting that the warning is only a notice and we can leave things as is without worrying about the page being de-ranked/penalized. I am wondering if this is true or if we should remove the one directory that contains the js from the robots file and find another way to resolve the duplicate title tags?

Log in, sign up, user registration and robots
Hi all, We have an accommodation site that asks users only to register when they want to book a room, in the last step. Though this is the ideal situation when you have tons of users, nowadays we are having around 1500 - 2000 per day and making tests we found out that if we ask for a registration (simple, 1 click FB) we mail them all and through a good customer service we are increasing our sales. That is why, we would like to ask users to register right after the home page ie Home/accommodation or and all the rest. I am not sure how can I make to make that content still visible to robots.

Will the authentication process block google crawling it? Maybe something we can do? We are not completely sure how to proceed so any tip would be appreciated. Thank you all for answering.3 -

Can't find mistake in robots.txt
Hi all, we recently filled our robots.txt file to prevent some directories from crawling. Looks like: User-agent: * Disallow: /Views/ Disallow: /login/ Disallow: /routing/ Disallow: /Profiler/ Disallow: /LILLYPROFILER/ Disallow: /EventRweKompaktProfiler/ Disallow: /AccessIntProfiler/ Disallow: /KellyIntProfiler/ Disallow: /lilly/ now, as Google Webmaster Tools hasn't updated our robots.txt yet, I checked our robots.txt in some ckeckers. They tell me that the User agent: * contains an error. **Example:** **Line 1: Syntax error! Expected <field>:</field> <value></value> 1: User-agent: *** **`I checked other robots.txt written the same way --> they work,`** accordign to the checkers... **`Where the .... is the mistake???`** ```

How to allow one directory in robots.txt
Hello, is there a way to allow a certain child directory in robots.txt but keep all others blocked? For instance, we've got external links pointing to /user/password/, but we're blocking everything under /user/. And there are too many /user/somethings/ to just block every one BUT /user/password/. I hope that makes sense... Thanks!

Confused about robots.txt
There is a lot of conflicting and/or unclear information about robots.txt out there. Somehow, I can't make out what's the best way to use robots even after visiting the official robots website. For example I have the following format for my robots. User-agent: * Disallow: javascript.js Disallow: /images/ Disallow: /embedconfig Disallow: /playerconfig Disallow: /spotlightmedia Disallow: /EventVideos Disallow: /playEpisode Allow: / Sitemap: http://www.example.tv/sitemapindex.xml Sitemap: http://www.example.tv/sitemapindex-videos.xml Sitemap: http://www.example.tv/news-sitemap.xml Is this correct and/or recommended? If so, then how come I see a list of over 200 or so links blocked by robots when Im checking out Google Webmaster Tools! Help someone, anyone! Can't seem to understand this robotic business! Regards,
