Link Building Training Courses (UK)
-
Hi,
Does anybody know of any good UK Link Building training courses or trainers?
I have read loads of information on here and other sites which tells you that you need to get good high quality links but have not found much information on exactly how you go about doing this (apart from looking at competitors links - which is easy).
So I would love to get some training for me and another team member here on Link Building specifically. We have all the other areas of SEO pretty much covered and get pretty good rankings for long tail and some broad phrases. We just need a bit of extra Link Building help to boost some rankings up even further.
Thanks in advance
Andy

I am about half way through this webinar - its very good so far - not sure I will need training after all now. Thanks Adam.

Cool, I will get in touch with distilled to see what they can offer.
-
Oh, so you want some in-house/on-site training?
I would try SEOmoz partner Distilled: http://www.distilled.co.uk/contact.html

Thanks Adam.
I will watch that webinar - I dont think I have seen that one.
I would still rather have some professional training if possible.

Andy, getting white hat links often requires a lot of creativity and elbow grease. This webinar is a good place to start: http://www.seomoz.org/webinars/seomoz-tools-acquire-whitehat-links

Link Building Techniques: Guest Blogging - Is it Okay or Not?
I was reading this page here: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66356 "[...]Buying or selling links that pass PageRank. This includes exchanging money for links, or posts that contain links; exchanging goods or services for links; or sending someone a “free” product in exchange for them writing about it and including a link." So assuming you provide high quality guest posts to high quality blogs, is it okay or not to use this method as a link building technique?

What are the pros and cons of using a link builder? Can link building be outsourced?
Hi, I have great content on my website which I would like to build external links to from other websites. I am told this will increase my domain authority and ultimately help search engine ranking positions. I have very limited time in my hands and now thinking of outsourcing the link building component to a specialist. Is this a good way of doing it? Could you recommend professional link builders?

Link Building for a Newbie!
Hi Guys & Girls. Following my previous question, I seem to really be getting to grips with SEOmoz and all its features which seem fantastic. As mentioned before, I am quite new to this SEO game and learning all the time!! Through all my reading and learning over the last week I have learnt that Link Building is one of the most powerful ways of increasing your SEO game. I'm really trying to get my head around it all. I have come across things like "Link Farming" which seems to be a big no no in terms of Google. Submitting to Link directories etc etc. Now for somebody new, this all comes across quite confusing. Can anybody out there provide me with a really simple but informative way to effectively Link Build? Best practices etc etc! I really want to learn and "up" my game! The website that I am working with is http://www.advanced-incar.co.uk Many thanks, Tim

Build Links with Bloggers
Hi! A few days ago, someone asked about how to ask links from bloggers and we got good answers, specially from Egol. But, I do want to add to that question: after conducting research on each blogger and make sure they have good quality content, how would you factor in their page rank, visitors, page view and social media info? if they don't have much traffic, with PR3 (we are PR4), which means we can't count on too much traffic from them, but, will backlink from such places deemed as quality link by Google? I do understand the higher number in PR and traffic is better, but, in our case, they don't come by often. Is it still worthwhile to do the lower sites?
