Schedule crawls for 2 subdomains every 24 hours
-
I saw at this link:
http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/crawl-test
"As a PRO member, you can schedule crawls for 2 subdomains every 24 hours, and you'll get up to 3,000 pages crawled per subdomain."
However I am having trouble finding where to schedule this 24 hour crawl in my Pro Dashboard. I did not see the option for this setting in the crawl diagnostics tab or in the campaign settings section from the dashboard home page. Can you help?
thanks!
Michael

Generally, I correct the error and then wait until the next crawl if I'm confident that I've fixed the problem.
If I'm unsure then I may run a manual crawl using the crawling tool, however for me the format just isn't as easy to read as the weekly crawl diagnostics.

Interesting, thank you both for the feedback. I am new to SEOMoz and am just curious how most users use the crawl tool when they fix errors...do you wait until the next week's crawl to see if the error is resolved? or do you immediately use the crawl test tool to check and see if their changes corrected the errors..(saving time) No right or wrong answer here, just curious as to how most SEO Moz pro users the tool. Any tips or tricks from other users on how they use the tool no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Shelly is right on here. Send an email to help@seomoz.org and they'll answer your question for you.

You can use the crawl test tool to run a 2 crawls per day for up to 3,000 pages, however as far as I'm aware the SEO Tools are moving more towards campaign setups where your sites are crawled once per week (or within 24 hours for a new campaign).
It might be worth referring a request to SEOMoz help to get the team to clarify

Crawl Diagnostics 2261 Issues with Our Blog
I just recently signed up for MOZ, so much information. I've done the walk through and will continue learning how to us the tools. But I need your help. Our first moz crawl indicated 2261 issues (447 404's, 803 duplicate content, 11 502's, etc). I've reviewed all of the crawls issues and they are linked to our Yahoo hosted WordPress blog. Our blog is over 9 years old. The only issue that I'm able to find is our categories are not set up correctly. I've searched for WordPress assistance on this topic and cant find any issues with our current category set up. Every category link that I click returns Nothing Found Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post. http://site.labellaflorachildrensboutique.com/blog/ Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

How to make a Crawl Report readable?
Hi! I am trying to find out how I make my CSV report neat, so I can interprete the report. I know have a CSV report with just numbers and text all in one column. I tried the button text to columns but that doesn't work because when I do that at column A it overwrites column B in which I have the same problem! Thanks

SEOmoz Dashboard Report: Crawl Diagnostic Summary
Hi there, I'm noticing that the total errors for our website has been going up and down drastically almost every other week. 4 weeks ago there were over 10,000 errors. 2 weeks ago there were barely 1,000 errors. Today I'm noticing it's back to over 12,000 errors. It says the majority of the errors are from duplicate page content & page title. We haven't made any changes to the titles or the content. Some insight and explanation for this would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gemma

Crawl Diagnostics shows two title and meta tag errors but they are false positives.
I got one hit each on "Missing Meta Description Tag" and "Title Missing or Empty" but in the source of my page they are clearly there: <title>Protein Powder | Compare and Get the Best Prices</title> <meta name="keywords" content="protein powder, whey protein, protein supplement, whey protein isolate, hydrolyzed whey" /> I understand there are conventions which may or may not be followed by Drupal (I read an earlier question where ordering and W3C conventions were suggested) but i'm not sure how to fix them given Drupal will just overwrite any hand editing the next time something is built and importantly, I can't get the crawl to work on cue - it works on the automatic once a week crawl in the main campaign summary but every time I've specifically used the Crawl Test tool it gives me a "There was an error submitting your request to the crawler. Please try again later" so I can't really test any changes. Given Google seems to be recognising the title tag - ie showing it in the results - Do I put this down as seomoz just not working? Kind Regards, Brian

How can I clean up my crawl report from duplicate records?
I am viewing my Crawl Diagnostics Report. My report is filled with data which really shouldn't be there. For example I have a page: http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/ This is a main forum page. It contains a list of many threads. The list can be sorted on many values. The page is canonicalized, and has been since it was created. My crawl report shows this page listed 15 times. http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=asc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=desc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?order=post_date and so forth. Each of those pages uses the same canonicalization reference shared above. I have three questions: Why is this data appearing in my crawl report? These pages are properly canonicalized. If these pages are supposed to appear in the report for some reason, how can I remove them? My desire is to focus on any pages which may have an issue which needs to be addressed. This site has about 50 forum pages and when you add an extra 15 pages per forum, it becomes a lot harder to locate actionable data. To make matters worse, these forum indexes often have many pages. So if I have a "Corvette" forum there that is 10 pages long, then there will be 150 extra pages just for that particular forum in my crawl report. Is there anything I am missing? To the best of my knowledge everything is set up according to the best SEO practices. If there is any other opinions, I would like to hear them.

Scheduling crawls between certain time periods
Hi, today SEOMoz crawled our site and it interfered with an email campaign that we sent out and pretty much brought our site to a crawl (seoMoz even reported numerous 4XX errors). Is there a way to tell the crawler to only allow indexing between certain time periods?
