Is my "term & conditions"-"privacy policy" and "About Us" pages stealing link juice?
-
should i make them no follow?
or is this a bogus method?
-
Hi Keri...thanks for sharing some insight to my response as well ;>)
Is due to the Panda Update why they should be indexed -- since the panda update I believe now wants to see the contact page and those 2 other pages I think ...hummm thanks for clarity !
-
I wouldn't bother with nofollow, I would put all 3 on the same page & consolidate that way. If you wanted, you could leave your navigation as is, by just using anchors to get to specific parts of the page
I don't like to noindex or block the legal pages, as they are a signal for trust

There's a good discussion about this in a very similar post from a few hours ago at http://www.seomoz.org/q/should-i-make-all-my-non-money-pages-no-follow. The short answer is that a couple years back it may have helped, but not anymore.
You do want to index them, as you want the search engines to see that you have a privacy policy, and both the privacy policy and about us help the engines trust your site just a tad more.

Yes...if it is of no importance to you then you are hurting yourself and your site -- just use the no index no follow tag -- this will prevent it from indexing and passing juice to those insignificant pages

What is the easiest way to make AMP pages with Wordpress?
Hi Mozzers! I really want to start created AMP pages for my clients sites, but have found a lot of trouble with the top plugins. One was extremely confusing and the other most popular option for a free plugin was super basic and had virtually no customization options. What's the best way to create these for a non developer? Thanks, Ricky

Page must be internally linked to get indexed?
If a there is page like website.com/page; I think this page will be indexed by Google even we don't link it internally from anywhere. Is this true? Will it makes any difference in-terms of "indexability" if we list this page on sitemap? I know page's visibility will increase when link from multiple internal pages. I wonder will there be any noticeable difference while this page is listed in sitemap.

Adding Video to Landing Pages-Beneficial SEO Effect in Terms of Links & Visitor Engagement?
I run a New York City commercial real estate in New York City. Lately, I have started to produce 30-second videos about property listings and neighborhoods. I have noticed that the engagement for these videos on Facebook is much higher that for text posts. Should adding these videos on our website (hosting them on Youtube) result in increased visitor engagement? Could there be a positive SEO effect such as more links and higher quality links? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, Alan

Using hreflang="en" instead of hreflang="en-gb"
Hello, I have a question in regard to international SEO and the hreflang meta tag. We are currently a B2B business in the UK. Our major market is England with some exceptions of sales internationally. We are wanting to increase our ranking into other english speaking countries and regions such as Ireland and the Channel Islands. My research has found regional google search engines for Ireland (google.ie), Jersey (google.je) and Guernsey (google.gg). Now, all the regions have English as one their main language and here is my questions. Because I use hreflang=“en-gb” as my site language, am I regional excluding these countries and islands? If I used hreflang=“en” would it include these english speaking regions and possible increase the ranking on these the regional search engines? Thank you,

Product Pages & Panda 4.0
Greeting MOZ Community: I operate a real estate web site in New York City (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com). Of the 600 pages, about 350 of the URLs are product pages, written about specific listings. The content on these pages is quite short, sometimes only 20 words. My ranking has dropped very much since mid-May, around the time of the new Panda update. I suspect it has something to do with the very short product pages, the 350 listing pages. What is the best way to deal with these pages so as to recover ranking. I am considering these options: 1. Setting them to "no-index". But I am concerned that removing product pages is sending the wrong message to Google. 2. Enhancing the content and making certain that each page has at least 150-200 words. Re-writing 350 listings would be a real project, but if necessary to recover I will bite the bullet. What is the best way to address this issue? I am very surprised that Google does not understand that product URLs can be very brief and yet have useful content. Information about a potential office rental that lists location, size, price per square foot is valuable to the visitor but can be very brief. Especially listings that change frequently. So I am surprised by the penalty. Would I be better off not having separate URLs for the listings, and for instance adding them as posts within building pages? Is having separate URLs for product pages with minimal content a bad idea from an SEO perspective? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can recover from this latest Panda penalty? Thanks, Alan

How would you handle 12,000 "tag" pages on Wordpress site?
We have a Wordpress site where /tag/ pages were not set to "noindex" and they are driving 25% of site's traffic (roughly 100,000 visits year to date). We can't simply "noindex" them all now, or we'll lose a massive amount of traffic. We can't possibly write unique descriptions for all of them. We can't just do nothing or a Panda update will come by and ding us for duplicate content one day (surprised it hasn't already). What would you do?

Too many on page links - product pages
Some of the pages on my client's website have too many on page links because they have lists of all their products. Is there anything I should/could do about this?
