What is the best choise for seasonal pages that rank after the season is over?

Hello and thank you for your attention.
I am optimizing a travel website and I have a few problems. Every time I get a good rank for a particular keyword the owners take down the page because the offer is over. They also take down the category because the season is over. That is why I loose all the rankings. What is the best option in this cases and how should I guide the whole team that putts offers and new categories on the website? Would a Static sitemap be enough - I do not know what to do as moving a category from the main menu to a sitemap - another page on the website would result in loosing authority - and SERP.

Which shows, although you get more traffic in summer there is still search traffic for the rest of the year for the pages they are taking down.
This is an incentive for them to keep those pages up and for you to maintain your SEO plans.
Just an idea to try win them round to keeping the pages up.

The problem isn't really an SEO problem it's a communication problem, you need to explain the problems to your client and try to make them aware of the impact it will have on their business.
With regard to your sitemap question so long as the page is still present and accessible you should be fine (provided the information on it is kept up to date). It will lose some authority by not being visible elsewhere but it should regain that quite quickly once it is re-instated.
If you have 400 links on a page it might be time to start consolidating some of the categories into broader terms, or removing the links when they fall out of season. Don't remove the page just move the links to a less prominent location.

I would tend to avoid the 301 redirection in this case because it isn't an actual permanent redirect.
Leave the page up, make sure the content isn't misleading or confusing (no old offers, clear mentions of what year you are referring to). Point any internal links to the current relevant special offer, and cycle that process as the seasons change.
Patrick McKenzie who the man responsible for http://www.bingocardcreator.com/ has a separate domain for each season. It's overkill at this scale, but the overall process is pretty much what I described above, the pages never go away, the 'internal' links to them are simply switched out to whichever is relevant.

The problem is that if I add the category in the footer - and all the categories actually I would have too many links on my main page - I currently have 400 and the correct number would be 100.

The problem is the name of the category - in the main menu. For example we have the category: Vacation in Greece. This category is seasonal and after the summer was over the admins of the website - usually employs of the travel agency that have nothing to do with SEO, just removed it.

Leave the links to the seasonal categories in the footer, when it comes round to the season just reactivate it in the nav.

Keep the page up, but 301 redirect it to the page a customer is going to find most useful. That page may be the equivalent deal for the new season, or a page listing the current new-season deals for that destination. That way, any sites who had linked to old offers will pass their link juice to the new offer.
This way, most of the link juice is preserved and the customer is less likely to bounce.

Page not ranking because of React.js ?
Hey guys, I'm struggling with this part of my website which uses react.js . My developers used this saying it's much better and much quicker (which I think so too) but we have really low traffic coming from google compared to the other parts of the website (not using react.js). Home page ranks for most keywords with no SEO
Hi Guys, The keyword I am trying to rank is on seperate page with its own Optimization in place. However the HOME page of website starts ranking for that keywords . The keyword is mentioned on Home page Just once in content description, that's all. What should be my ideal strategy. Deleting the Sub Page, will that improve the SEO of my home page and improve the Rank for that keyword ? Also I can see my Own YELP pages rank better than the actual website for few terms . What is the proper way to execute 'page to page redirection'
I need to redirection every page of my website to a new url of another site I've made. I intend to add:"Redirect 301 /oldpage.html http://www.example.com/newpage.html"I will use the 301 per page to redirect every page of my site, but I'm confused that if I add:"Redirect 301 / http://mt-example.com/" it will redirect all of my pages to the homepage and ignore the URLs i have separately mentioned for redirection.Please guide me.

Possible to Improve Domain Authority By Improving Content on Low Page Rank Pages?
My sites domain authority is only 23. The home page has a page authority of 32. My site consists of about 400 pages. The topic of the site is commercial real estate (I am a real estate broker). A number of the sites we compete against have a domain authority of 30-40. Would our overall domain authority improved if we re-wrote the content for several hundred of pages that had the lowest page authority (say 12-15)? Is the overall domain authority derived by an average of the page authority of each page on a domain? Alternatively could we increase domain authority by setting the pages with the lowest page authority to "no index". By the way our domain is www.nyc-officespace-leader.com Thanks, Alan

Duplicate page title at bottom of page - ok, or bad?
Can I get you experts opinion? A few years ago, we customized our pages to repeat the page title at the bottom of the page. So the page title is in the breadcrumbs at the top, and then it's also at the bottom of the page under all the contents. Weird Page switch for a keyword in Google Rankings
Over this past weekend Google switched the page which usually showed in search results for keyword benchmarking. It went from from http://www.apqc.org/benchmarking to http://www.apqc.org/benchmarking-portal/osb. Also on Google the Rankings for the keyword 'benchmarking' sank from 15 to 47 for http://www.apqc.org/benchmarking Just looking for some theories or ideas or anyone that has had this happen to them.

301 - should I redirect entire domain or page for page?
Hi, We recently enabled a 301 on our domain from our old website to our new website. On the advice of fellow mozzer's we copied the old site exactly to the new domain, then did the 301 so that the sites are identical. Question is, should we be doing the 301 as a whole domain redirect, i.e. www.oldsite.com is now > www.newsite.com, or individually setting each page, i.e. www.oldsite.com/page1 is now www.newsite.com/page1 etc for each page in our site? Remembering that both old and new sites (for now) are identical copies. Also we set the 301 about 5 days ago and have verified its working but haven't seen a single change in rank either from the old site or new - is this because Google hasn't likely re-indexed yet? Well Ranked National Site - Need Local Rankings
We are a virtual company doing business in 30 states nationwide. All our business is done via the phone, fax, email and express mail. Back in 2008 I optimized our small 8 page website for our key terms and was able to rank the site #1 nationally for our main keywords. (I did a 6 month consulting gig for the company). The site remained #1 in Google until last year when some serious competitors entered the space and knocked us down to the middle of page one. Then with the Panda update #1 & #2 we have seen our traffic drop 50% mostly due to not receiving the City + Keywords rankings any more. I have now been hired full time to bring us back but my question is this Do I need to build out city specific pages on the existing website? Do I need to buy keyword specific domains and create microsites? Do a combination of both? I would love to do both but I have to prioritize my efforts. Any thoughts would be great.
