Can google crawl text in jquery sliders?

We are redesigning our website and want to present a fair amount of text within jquery sliders.
Will google crawl this text or is it treated the same way as actual script?
Perhaps there is a way to just have the text as plain html but use jquery to display it?

The plugin is not live anywhere yet to use WMT.

You would need to use scawl as google bot featuer to see if it can see the txt, i have no idea what the pugin you are using does.
text inside a display:none element will get crawled, but you maust make that text displayable somehow, when the user clicks on somthing or via a script somehw, you can not just hide it and never show it, thet will get you a penalty.
If you can see the text in google bot tool in WMTs paste it here. as somply being a string in the script is not good enouth it has to be in the html. ,

Sorry for my ignorance, but by saying that you would use a script to display the content, do you mean that you would not be using {display:none;} tag?
I am researching the use of a Jquery plugin for WP that will be used on the home page of a website and several of the main NAV links will be inside this plugin. It is important that the non displayed content and Titles are parsed without a downgrading of their content.
I will be linking to all of the content inside each tab, all of the content is legit, I am in no way trying to hide anything, we need the function for layout; so I do not believe we are at risk of the 30 day penalty for trying to hide content in hidden text. But, I need to ensure that the content from the boxes that are not displayed will be parsed without being downgraded by the search engines for being hidden.
The Plugin is the JqueryUI plugin, the content shows up as a non ordered list on the Source. I can see the non ordered list and the content of all the boxes in the source. The JQuery plugin uses the {Display:none} tag to hide the closed content boxes. *On the website though when I try to highlight a "closed" box's Title (The text displayed in the tabs of the plugin) I am not able to highlight these words, instead the website treats them like an image that can be dragged with the bg color. The latter is what concerns me most.
My main issue is that I need to know if all the text in the Title and content of the non-displayed boxes will be parsed as it would be if it was on the page without the Jquery plugin.
The second thing I would like to determine is if there could be a lesser value attributed to the content inside of the hidden boxes.
Third, is there a way to program this optimally so that it works for use in the website and for the SE's without using risky programming?

If you have the text on the html, but only display it via script, that should be fine, as long as you do display it. If you dont you may eventualy get flaged for hidden keywords

Location of body text on page - at top or bottom - does it matter for SEO?
Hi - I'm just looking at the text on a redesigned homepage. They have moved all the text to the very bottom of the page (which is quite common with lots of designers, I notice - I usually battle to move the important text back up to the top). I have always ensured the important text comes at the top, to some extent - does it matter where on the page the text comes, for SEO? Are there any studies you can point me to? Google HTML, CSS and javascript styleguides ?
Who's following the Google style guides especially in HTML, CSS and javascript? What are the benefits of following the style guides? I am thinking of sending the style guides to our web development team before we launch our new site but I think there might be some conflicts. I'm an SEO and not programmer or web developer and I'm sure there are some "rules" that these web dev guys should follow and break as well. Thanks in advance! 🙂

White Text / Black Background & SEO Impact
Does anyone know of any testing / studies with evidence that Google prefers dark text on a light background vs. light text on a dark background? I have a website that currently has light text on a black background, and really like the way it looks, but am concerned that the style may be hurting SEO. Moreover, redesigning something inverse with the same quality would be a large project and fairly costly, so I'd like to make sure the benefit will really be worth the cost before moving forward.

Any way of showing missed sales in Google Analytics?
Sit down, this might get a little complicated... I was approached by a design company to do some SEO work a client of theirs. Usually, this stuff is white label but I have direct contact with the client as the design agency felt it was easier for me to do this. The website is performing really well and looking at the sales funnel, I'm getting people wanting to buy. BUT, and here's the problem, everything falls apart because of the way the check out works. It's appalling. The customer has to register to buy a product, there's no guest check out or anything. The checkout button is right below the fold and you'd miss it completely if you didn't actually search for it. Basically, it's losing the client money. Last month alone there were 300~ people entering the conversion funnel and NONE of them complete it. I've been talking with the design company and they basically saying that it's too much work for them to change it, it's a signed off project blah blah. UI reports have been conducted and sent to them but still nothing. I have the client asking (a great client, obviously wondering why there is a lack of return on his investment) why he isn't making money. He's asking me because I'm the guy thats meant to be getting him the cash back. I keep saying to the design agency the problems and that it's never going to make money. The potential is massive. But thats my problem. Is there ANY way in GA to calculate the missed sales? I know that I can view the total amount made when the customer successfully checks out but I need figures to present that I'm leading the horse to water, but the check out system is preventing it from drinking. tl;dr I need to show client/design agency missed sales due to poorly built checkout system. Does Google follow links inside a <noscript>tag?</noscript>
I'm looking at making an embedable calculator and asking users to embed it to their website. I had the idea of using javascript to include the calculator which would also conatain a text link back to my site in order to gain some back links. If it's possible Google won't see the link (as they may not execute the javascript), is it safe to place the link in the <noscript>tag? How can I reduce my warnings for excesive links on our site?
Our campaign overview shows well over 100 warnings that could be hurting our google ranking based on excessive links on pages. Each page listed, however, is simply due to listing the brands we carry, and linking to the products. Is there a way to do this without hurting our ranking? A better way than linking, perhaps? Why is Google sending traffic to our homepage, not our optimized pages?
Hello Forum, My team and I just completely redid a yoga eCommerce site, including its SEO. The old version of the site didn't feature page-specific optimization and, as a result, Google's search results for our keywords almost always directed visitors to the homepage. For example, a Google search for the term "yoga bolster" sent users to the homepage, not the product category page for yoga bolsters. After redoing the site and optimizing specific pages (i.e. the yoga bolster page is now optimized for the keyword "yoga bolster"), the Google search results are still taking users to the homepage, not the optimized page. (i.e. if you search for yoga bolster, find our search result, and click the search result link, you're taken to the homepage, not the bolster page) It's only been about 36 hours since we've launched the new website and submitted it to Google's webmaster tools. Does anyone know why Google is still sending people to our homepage and not the keyword-optimized pages we created? Is this a timing issue?
