Facebook Fan Page Title

I am creating a new fan page for my company.
The page will definitely begin with my brand name. Is it a good idea to add keywords after the brand name (3-4 word short description of what the brand is) or is it better to keep the name just the brand?

Hi Sara! I'm not sure that adding keywords to the title will help much for SEO purposes. It may look a bit spammy actually, and I'm not sure you want your Facebook page to rank (or possibly outrank you) for your keywords. But the main thing is that most people when they link to your Facebook page they'll normally use the anchor text of "brand name" or "brand name on facebook" or sometimes just "Facebook".
I think just adding your brand name is good as it helps for those brand queries.

As far as i know all links from facebook to your site is nofollow. So whatever you name your site it won't affect your Pagerank.

Facebook.com / referral - What is it?
Hi Moz community! Coming to you today to ask a two fold question about a mysterious source/medium combination and also social medium data in general. First question relates to the attached image named 'Facebook Referral.' We've made sure to apply correct tags to all of our campaigns, both organic and paid, and are having a difficult time figuring out where this source/medium comes from which is a bit troubling as it actually has pulled in some revenue over the past couple of months The second question is around general Facebook data. Our Facebook business manager is vastly over reporting clicks to landing pages. For instance, we saw about 1,700 clicks to site as reported by Facebook business manager, whereas Google Analytics only registered about 950. I know data between the two channels rarely lines up perfectly, but this seems like a rather wide variance. Can someone help me to understand this, and let me know if there is anyway to reduce the occurrence of one or both of the issues we're facing. Thanks! referral.PNG

Vanity URL for Google+ page
Hello there, Our company has a Google + business page: https://plus.google.com/u/0/107077834998367309370/about We are trying to change the URL to something more friendly such as https://plus.google.com/wallpapered (Wallpapered being the name of our company) Can you please advise if we have set something up incorrectly? Google Plus Company Page Verification
Hi How do you test successful G+ company page/publisher integration/verification if using the less technical methods such as linking between the Home page and the G+ company page instead of adding code to the head section? Since i take it the google structured data testing tool cant work in these cases since no code on the head section ! Is it best to add the code anyway ? I note my clients still not achieving a knowledge graph card/section in the search results for a branded search but i have heard that doesnt come until you have at least hundreds of followers and/or G+ interactions. Makeoverfor our Facebook page titles! question about open graph and Google
Hello, We have two Facebook pages for our company, one in English and one in Arabic. A few weeks ago we wanted to change the Facebook page titles but this option was not allowed for both pages. Now Facebook is giving us an option to change the title for both pages: We had a lengthy discussion regarding the best way to name our Facebook pages. Currently our Facebook pages titles are: For the one in English: "X" ( X - our brand name in English*) For the page in Arabic: "X - Arabic" ( X- our brand name in English*) We agreed to change the title for the page in English to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our brand's field in English) ( X - our brand name in English).* for the Arabic page we suggested to change the title to: X - (The main 3 keywords in our company field in Arabic)** ( X - our brand name in English).* **** We will translate the main 3 keywords to Arabic** We have a few questions: - How does the search work in Facebook? Does the open graph algorithm take into account the page's content and/or its title and description? - Is there any preferred way to name the Facebook pages? We were debating using the company's slogans versus the main keywords for our brand. ? Or should the title contain just the brand name? - What components of the Facebook page title and URL affect our page's visibility in Google for a search on our brand name? It's important to mention that Google currently does not show the Arabic page in the 1st page in Google. Thank you in advance for your help!

Facebook Like Button vs Like Box
We want to add the Facebook Like and Google Plus One functionality to our website but had a question. Is it better for SEO and usability to use a global Facebook Like Button for people to Like the home page of our website or a Facebook Like Box to Like our Facebook page from our website? Google+ I set up a profile as my business a while back. Should I change to a page NOW?
A while back, can't remember when, I set up a profile page under my business name. It has recently started picking up a bit of momentum but I am concerned it is not in line with Google's policy and will eventually get removed. I don't want to invest any more effort into this profile if this is likely so am looking at moving my efforts to a page. Any ideas / recommendations? Thanks,

Google Places Pages and social icons
I have a business that works in many cities across Texas. Our home base is in Austin and i have a Google Places page set up for Austin. I have a page dedicated to each major city in Texas talking about clients we've worked with in each city, etc.. I am placing social icons on each page and Google Places is one of the Icons and i was concerned that if Google sees a link to our Austin places page on our Houston page that the Houston page might be considered less relevant for a Houston search being as Google takes note of addresses on pages to consider relevance. Will my page suffer in the serps if i link to our Austin local page on our other city pages in the google places icon? Second question: What are the best social icons to put on my web pages for the best traffic? Take care,
