Not really a question.

Hello Mozzers,
I just logged into my account and after what has felt like a few months of on site work I finally see ZERO errors across the board for my main campaign with SEO Moz!
I just wanted to share that with everyone because at one point above the errors were in the 5,000 range. It was causing penalties and weight in serps, but now thanks to SEO Moz and the help that I have received in the Q&A section, I have corrected all the errors!
So, thank you to SEOMOZ and the pro community very very much!!!
As a discussion though, how are the errors with most other users? Are you typically always seeing no errors, a few errors or a lot of errors for your campaigns?
Thanks!
Jesse

Thank you Miranda!

That's awesome, Jesse! Glad it helped, thanks for sharing. Hopefully those rankings will start to go up soon! : )

I'm at the 18,000 mark with mine (Actually much lower because of Title and Body being counted separately)
We have 10+ matches of each Make/Model of new vehicles, a finance page for each of those vehicles (going away soon), a test drive page for each of those vehicles (going away soon), request more info page for each of those vehicles (going away soon), as well as some other random duplicates. It's been a process to convince the developer to do any of it...

Will definitely do. This site was using ExpressionEngine as the CMS and it needed some serious in house cleaning done. Especially with 404 redirects and meta tags. My main errors with Google and SEOMoz were the duplicate descriptions, urls and meta data. Wordpress probably wouldn't have had these errors, but since the site was custom built there were some minor, but major misplaced and forgotten lines of code in the .htaccess and header files.
I'll update here if I start to see serp movement.

Yes Jesse, please keep us posted on significant rank changes. To my (and others) chagrin, I use a CMS that produces some pollution. Don't know if I could do house cleaning on it even if I wanted to, but I'm definitely interested in the measurable impact.

Thanks EGOL! There have been some improvements to keywords, but nothing that jumps out at me right now. Just the sort of typical fluctuation. Hopefully, I'll start to see some larger jumps soon..
-
Congratulations... glad you made all of those improvements.
OK.... here is a question... Did your rankings go up?

Does anybody really think that SEOMoz provides much value?
Crawl results lag so far behind as to be of questionable value for corrective purposes, and in the fast-paced world of SEO, the service seems right out of the horse-and-buggy era.. I corrected crawl errors two weeks ago, and yet SEOMoz' crawls are still not reflecting this. Furthermore, SEOMoz' idea of where my keywords rank has little to no bearing on reality. I am really disenchanted, and thinking of cancelling my subscription.

Question regarding the SEOmoz Report Card
A report card is directed towards one keyword. What if one is to target two keywords on one page? For example, if I want to target SEO in Miami, Miami SEO, and SEO Miami it would be impossible to get an "A" on the report card for all three. What is the best way to target two-three keys on one page? Lets say these keywords are equally beneficial to the site, and we do not want to have to use hierarchy for one key over the other. Would it be wise to build a page for each? I feel like that would be redundant to the user. It says I need the keyword 4 times in the body so I should have 4 "SEO Miami" and 4 "Miami SEO". High importance factors. What makes them high importance? The keyword should be in the beginning of the title. How does this make sense as a high importance factor. Many titles are going to sound spammy if this is how they are written. Lets use Miami SEO again as an example: Miami SEO from [company name] bla bla bla sounds like spam. Learn about SEO in Miami from [company name] sound much better and is probably more likely to get clicked on. How important are these High Importance factors? I was always under the impression that we build the site for the user however the report card changes that perspective.

Initial Crawl Questions
Hello. I just joined and used the Crawl tool. I have many questions and hoping the community can offer some guidance. 1. I received an Excel file with 3k+ records. Is there a friendly online viewer for the Crawl report? Or is the Excel file the only output? 2. Assuming the Excel file is the only output, the Time Crawled is a number (i.e. 1305798581). I have tried changing the field to a date/time format but that did not work. How can I view the field as a normal date/time such as May 15, 2011 14:02? 3. I use the â„¢ symbol in my Title. This symbol appears in the output as a few ascii characters. Is that a concern? Should I remove the trademark symbol from my Title? 4. I am using XenForo forum software. All forum threads automatically receive a Title Tag and Meta Description as part of a template. The Crawl Test report shows my Title Tag and Meta Description as blank for many threads. I have looked at the source code of several pages and they all have clean Title tags and I don't understand why the Crawl Report doesn't show them. Any ideas? 5. In some cases the HTTP Status Code field shows a result of "3". Why does that mean? 6. For every URL in the Crawl Report there is an entry in the Referrer field. What exactly is the relationship between these fields? I thought the Crawl Tool would inspect every page on the site. If a page doesn't have a referring page is it missed? What if a page has multiple referring pages? How is that information displayed? 7. Under Google Webmaster Tools > Site Configurations > Settings > Parameter Handling I have the options set as either "Ignore" or "Let Google Decide" for various URL parameters. These are "pages" of my site which should mostly be ignored. For example a forum may have 7 headers, each on of which can be sorted in ascending or descending order. The only page that matters is the initial page. All the rest should be ignored by Google and the Crawl. Presently there are 11 records for many pages which really should only have one record due to these various sort parameters. Can I configure the crawl so it ignores parameter pages? I am anxious to get started on my site. I dove into the crawl results and it's just too messy in it's present state for me to pull out any actionable data. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Pro Report Card Question
I am getting this warning in the Pro Report Card, my site is http://www.myfairytalebooks.com which seems to have Children's and not Childrens in the title. How do I delete a question?
Having problems with this question, old edits get saved as copies of the question, even this one had to be edited twice, originally an old version of an edited question. How do I DELETE a question I authored (like this one) I see no button for it.

Where can I view all of the Questions that I have Answered?
AFAICT there's no way to filter questions to the ones that you have answered. Is there any plan to implement a filter like this? I realise there are email notifications available but no easy way to just go back and check on your answers. No doubt I'm just missing something here so if I'm completely wrong, please point me in the right direction 🙂 Thanks very much!
