One site with one product or multi product website

Lets suppose that i have 10 NICHE products under me. Should i make one site for each product or one site overall.
If i make 1 site for each product i get several advantages

Domain name has keyword
-
Title tags etc will be dedicated to one keyword only.
Disavantage - Backlinking for each domain will become tougher.
Advantage of one site onl

Good management
-
Seo / backlinks becomes easier
-
Blogging to attract traffic becomes easier

Can target a lot of keywords through business blogging
Disadvantages
- Can become messy with unimportant keywords gaining importance.
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK??? One site per product or One site for all products?

No.. All the products are related and they wall under the same product category. I guess u are right. By starting separate websites, i can miss reference business as well. As in a customer needing one product, might just need another as well.

A variety of products can rank well if they are well SEO'd.
If the products are related I'd put them together on one site. If they were ten totally unrelated products - for example, toe scratchers and garden gnomes, I'd be more inclined to create 10 sites. After all, you'll want to incorporate social media and develop content for your potential customers that is relevant or related to the products you are selling.

It definitely helped. I was gonna go that with the primary seo strategy. But then i was confused whether i shud have one product specific domain itself. Lets c. Will try this strategy and i think it should work.

You can have a website architecture like:
domain.com/productnamespecifickeyword.html
- okay you will need to optimize that one 
and then target productnamespecifickeyword.html with links which have productnamespecifickeyword as anchor text

Thanks a lot for the answer. But if i have multi products in one domain, will all the keywords rank high??? As in i want to rank high for 10 keywords on the same domain, should i change the anchor text during backlinking?

Hi Hitesh,
I would go for one domain.
Creating a lot of mini-sites maybe will help you in short term... BUT if you are going for long term, then you should focus on creating a larger websites. Focus on creating 1 page for each product and target it to the specific page.
With less effort you can benefit of link building for one domain. Don't forget to do a keyword mapping.

Microsite and main website alternate in rankings
Hi all, I just noticed a potential issue with our websites. We have two ecommerce websites, one is a very large one selling all sorts of products, while the microsite focuses on a small segment of products. All products sold on the microsite are also sold on the main website. In the beginning of September, we upgraded the microsite to the same script that the main website uses to make it mobile friendly and update the design. They now look very similar. Before, both websites used to rank on page 1 for a specific keyword. I have noticed that since we upgraded the microsite, the two websites have been taking turns ranking for the keyword. For a few weeks the microsite ranks and the main website doesn't rank for the keyword. Then for a few weeks only the main website ranks and the microsite doesn't. I think the reason this is happening is that Google understands that the content is the same and the websites are both owned by the same company. Fair enough. I remember reading an article about this phenomenon before but can't remember where. Does anyone know which article I'm talking about (it would have been on an SEO blog/website, e.g. Moz, SEJ, SE Roundtable etc)? I'm not even sure what this phenomenon is called. If we can only have one of the pages rank, we would prefer it to be the microsite at all times. Would a canonical tag on the main website referring to the URL on the microsite fix this? I think at the moment the product descriptions are either very similar or identical. Would it help to make them more different to get both to rank again if that is what we wanted to do? In the end it is still the same product being sold by the same company - after Google has already sort of merged the two, would they "un-merge" them if the content was more different? On Site Question: Duplicate H2...
Hi All A few on-site audit tools pull information on duplicate H2 tags on pages. This implies it's a bad thing and should be fixed - is that the case? On one of my sites the tag-line is in H2 in the header, so appears on every page... Just wondering if this is something worth fixing. Thanks

To change or not to change site URL structure?
I am learning my way around SEO, having always used professionals for it in the past on previous businesses i have decided to do it myself and learn more about it. Now the dilemma i am up against is i recently changed some of my permalinks on quite a few main pages throughout the site. The site launched in April this year so we're quite new. The problem is since my last change i have not seen any increase...a decrease which in fact hasn't recovered at all. Having now analysed them in more depth and read up more on the whole subject of SEO, (which is endless) i have put together a complete new strategy; with this increased understanding of what i am doing (but by no means conclusive) i want to complete a full overhaul on all SEO (via Wordpress which i use along with YOAST SEO tools), ensuring i have all my keywords, permalinks and descriptions spot on throughout every page, post and picture. I spent a lot of time mapping these out, ensuring there is no Focus keyword duplication, and that the site is relatively flat in terms of its layout. What i am unsure about now is whether changing my permalinks again is a bad thing to do?

Should i just focus on my content and keywords/descriptions? I am at a loss as i don't want to do irreparable damage to our reputation. The site is still reasonable easy to manage so changing now is the best time to do it, but if changing the URLs is a waste of time then i may just forget that and just work on the keywords, descriptions and content. SEO for New Magento Site??!?
Hi All, We have had a new site delivered by our developers (hurrah...the old one was to terrible for words) but we seem to be having a lot of issues with the new Magento platform. What they have done is used the community version and tried to customize it. I came on to this project about a month into the build and although Magento does seem to do a lot things well there do seem to be some problems. From an SEO prespective we have seen some increase on some search terms and a drop of in others. I would be interested in hearing from other Magento users about their experiences with this platform and any ideas on how to crank up the activity. Our site is at www.nationwidepharmacies.co.uk . There are few odd bits including the side navigation which seems to be very clunky and not overly customizable in this version. Any useful criticism would also be well received. Product merchandising category creation
I work on a site selling clothing, and we break up our clothing into categories of types of clothing. Right now in my accessories, I have an other category, which cover the miscellaneous items that there aren't enough to warrant their own categories. I was curious what people thought about further breakdowns of this category. Do I create a category that only has one item in it? Is there a certain threshold of number of items which should signal that these items need their own categories or length of time they're expected to be available to buy? Right now, I'm not targeting the one-off items for SEO purposes because we tend not to carry them from season to season or continue with them long enough to be the best use of my SEO time.
