Linking domains on same ip
-
I don't know if i can post a link in the question so if you google 800 appliance and do a little reaserch on them you will see that it has many links with same content linking to the main domain and to each other.
They hosted on the same ip which from what i read doesn't supposed to help in ranking.
I saw many nich websites like this with the same idea.
What am i missing here...?

It all make sense but let look at one more
new york appliance repair . com also using the same technicque in over 30 cities all by liking all on same ip.
If you look at the competitors for example appliance - repair - ny . com that has almost 3000 links from different ips get lower rankings..
I'm looking on a way to dominate this niche in any cities and played with the idea but it seems like it too easy if that all that it took them to take over those niches.

To get good (valuable) link is always good. Even if it is from same IP it is better than no link at all. Of course it is my opinion but it is your call to get the link or not. Hopefully it helps ... I'm using link research tool from SEOMoz and it helps a lot.

According to http://ispionage.com they only rank for 23 search terms and most of them include the words 'san diego'. So they're not exactly an SEO machine (unless you're in San Diego and a competing appliance company, perhaps).
Many links from different domains on the same c-class IP address are devalued by Google. Likewise, mininets (a collection of sites that link to each other for the benefit of another site) I suspect are easily discovered and devalued by Google, too. These kinds of games lost their effectiveness several years ago.

A website with a spam score of 5 is back linking to me. How important is to get that link removed?
There is a website that OSE has identified with a spam score of 5, it back links to me with a very specific key word. How important is it to have them remove those links?

Internal Linking
OSE only shows me as having 24 internal links on my home page. My internal links and total links are far less than my competitors, some of whom have 1700 on a single page. My site is www.CenterCityTeam.com and an example of a competitor with far more internal links is www.McCannTeam.com. 1) How do I get that many internal links on a page and 2) do I even want to?

Domain extensions and link building
Hi, If you were trying to rank your website for a search term in Google UK, would it be more beneficial to build links from .co.uk websites then any other? I have read on Hubspot if your targeting UK rankings then link building from .co.uk domains will have a good impact on UK rankings? Thanks

Why do the results in SEOmoz and OSE for Linking Root Domains differ?
In SEOmoz, in a campaign we set up, it shows 600+ Linking Root Domains, but in OSE it shows 300+ Linking Root Domains- quite a difference. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Recommended number of links on a single page to a different domain?
Hello fine SEOMOZ people, I have looked around and hope I have not missed an answer to this. The big picture: I know that when multiple links on a page point to the same external page, only the first link is considered for ranking purposes (at least for moz rank). What about multiple links on a page to (different) pages on the same external domain? The task: Using a client's network of sites to help build links (and advertise features) to the site they need optimised. The emphasis is on the usefulness of the info the the respective site's user but I am using the opportunity to create some meaningful anchor text links. The target site is feature rich and I could conceivavbly link to all the key site features (top level pages). However, my SEO spidey senses flagged the possibility that a few links on a page to the target domain (though to different pages on that domain), may carry more weight than many links on the page. I am talking about whether I can go ahead and put 10-15 links on a page to the key site features or whether I am (significantly) better off just selecting 2-5 key target feature pages and using other domains to link to the other features. Caveat: I think I am aware of all the peripheral concerns - not duplicating the page on other sites, varying the anchor text, not implementing the links all at once etc, etc.. Am I overthinking this?
