Domain Suggestion Tool?
-
Does anyone know of a good domain suggestion tool? I've tried some of them, but wasn't happy with the results.
I'd basically like to put in some key words, and get some suggetions.
Thanks.

Have you tried any of these? http://www.searchenginejournal.com/top-tools-for-domain-name-brainstorming/7208/
In my experience the best domain suggestion tool is a group of people brainstorming in a room. Start off by writing everything down, however stupid it seems, as it might lead to something you like, and then run through and eliminate everything unsuitable later. I use thesaurus tools such as those in word processing software, and online.
There are some important things to consider here: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifehack/how-to-choose-a-domain-name.html - and I just saw this while I was there: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/technology/how-to-brainstorm-domain-names.html

Agreed. Build a potential list in Excel, and use a free source tool to plug various one's in to hopefully find somethat that works.
I would do the market and keyword research first for whatever you are trying to buy/build, to ensure you get the best possible mix for domain name to keyword relevancy
Other than that, any domain tool with most companies will work in order to spit back variations, or substitutes if certain ones are not available.
Cheers!

I always refer back to a post from 2006 that you can find here: http://www.dailyblogtips.com/200-prefixes-and-suffixes-for-domain-names/
It has a long list of common domain prefixes, suffixes, and other add-ons that can be used to modify a keyword.
I'll take a large list of those in excel, pump them into a bulk domain lookup tool like the one on namecheap.com, and see what comes out.
I've never found an actual suggestion tool that was any good, most are junk.

Why does this keyword have much greater volume in Bing Keyword Research Tool than Google AdWords Keyword Planner?
I'm using the Google AdWords keyword planner and Bing Webmaster Keyword Research tool. For both, I'm trying to get accurate search volume for the exact term "advertising sales". Over the last thirty days, Bing reports a volume of 5,988. Google's average monthly search volume is 880. Given the market share Google has, I would expect a much higher volume, especially when compared to Bing. Can you offer some ideas of why this might be happening?

Why does google's autocomplete not align with google's keyword tool?
Is google autocomplete based solely off keyword search volume? Or is there some other factors i am missing here? Here's an example: Auto complete suggestions for 'storage toronto': [storage toronto cost] [storage toronto downtown] [storage toronto rates] [storage toronto leaside] [storage toronto prices] [storage toronto dupont] [storage toronto laird] [storage toronto eastern ave] [storage toronto ontario] Google adwords keyword tool results for these: <colgroup><col width="151"> <col width="129"> <col width="169"></colgroup>

| Keyword | Global Monthly Searches | Local Monthly Searches |
| [storage toronto cost] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto downtown] | 36 | 28 |
| [storage toronto rates] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto leaside] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto prices] | 73 | 73 |
| [storage toronto dupont] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto laird] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto eastern ave] | 0 | 0 |
| [storage toronto ontario] | 0 | 0 | So here is what i find confusing: If [storage toronto cost] is the top suggestion for [storage toronto...] then why does google say it has 0 monthly searches? Why isn't [storage toronto downtown] the first suggestion? or better yet, why isn't [storage toronto prices] the top suggestion? So either: 1) google adwords keyword tool is wrong. or 2) google suggest isn't based on just volume?? I've run these same keywords through Bing's Excel keyword information spreadsheet query and it came back saying all keywords had 0 searches ever, except for...drumroll: [storage toronto prices] with 7 monthly searches, once, in august, and 0 all other months. Now i assume that bing/yahoo numbers are significantly smaller, but this does show that that the same keyword is the most popular, so in some way suggests that google's keyword is accurate. So i guess this brings be back to my confusion, what other factors is google's suggest based on, because it obviously isn't primarily search volume. And yes, i have made sure to clear caches, and disable personalized search and search history, and tried the query in several browsers, just to double check i wasn't getting a personalized list, so we can rule that out. Discrepancies between SEOMOZ's Google api exact match search volume results and google's keyword tool, why?
I'm finding major discrepancies between SEOMOZ's google api exact match search volumes and Google's own keyword tool, why? For example, 'bridge loans' gets 1300 searchs according to Google's keyword tool, but SEOMOZ says it only gets 210 (both on exact match). So which one do I believe? I know one is the average over 12 months and the other is for last month alone but still that's a huge difference.

Is there a better keyword tool than google's adwords keyword tool?
I have heard a lot of people say not to trust the results of google adword's keyword tool. Is there a better tool out there that i am not aware of that can judge local monthly and global monthly search volume?

Missing Tool!!
What SEOMOZ tool or other resource should I use to find a list of Google's most popular keyword searches. The "Keyword Difficulty" tool will allow me to check out information about a particular Keyword. For example if I want to check out the top 1000 most popular Keyword Searches in the .co.uk area, irregardless of industry. Thanks Peter
