When is the next linkscape update?
-
Hi,
Can anyone on the SEOmoz team tell me when the next linkscape index update is going to be? Rand mentioned a few weeks ago that the aim was to launch it before 02/29. Just wondering if anyone had some updated info?
Thanks,
Rob.

Howdy!
We are on schedule! You should expect to see the next linkscape update tomorrow
Thanks,
Jackie

Hi Robert,
Unfortunately I'm not part of the SEOmoz team but there's an update due tomorrow. You can check the Linkscape Schedule here.
Hope that helps,
Brendan.

Sudden big drop in ranking - update, tech issue or penalty?
We are managing a website that was previously consistently ranking on P1 or top position on P2 and over the weekend (28th Jan) suddenly dropped to P5. What is the best way of ascertaining whether this was down to an update, a tech issue or a penalty? There are other pages on the site (sub-folders) which are still continuing to rank well on the site for similar kws. Regards,

Crawl Diagnostics: Next crawl date is in the past
Hi - I have quite a few crawl diagnostic errors and warnings. I have attempted to fix many of them but noticed this note at the bottom of the crawl diagnostics chart: "Last Crawl Completed: Mar. 22nd, 2013 Next Crawl Starts: Mar. 29th, 2013" It looks like SEOMoz thinks the next crawl date is Mar 29th, 2013, which is two weeks ago. Is there any way to "force" the crawl and get it back on regular schedule? This may have happened when my account was disabled because my credit card expired...Thoughts?

My competitive link analysis hasn't been updated in nearly 2 months, why?
Anyone else having this problem? My last update was 2/28 and I'm not sure why it hasn't updated since then. Went through all of the documentation to no avail.

How long after 301 redirect does seomoz toolbar take to update?
I 301 redirected a page to a new URL that is better optimized for my content. However as soon as I did this upon visiting the page, my browser's seomoz toolbar "page authority measurement had fallen to "1" it was previously in the 40's... Does anyone know how long it takes for the seomoz toolbar PA rank to refresh on a 301 redirect? I see where seomoz says the redirected page will retain between 90-99% off its link juice. I'm fine with losing a little if it would mean long term gains in terms of good on-page seo. Any ideas?

Historical Linkscape/OSE data available?
Hey Mozzerati, I'm curious if there's a way to expose and analyze historical data from each previous Linkscape/OpenSiteExplorer (OSE) update. Essentially, I'm looking for something similar to MajesticSEO's Backlink History tool that can show you both daily links over a short time as well as cumulative links over a long period. I think the utility of such a tool is to see which competitors have gained many links over a short period, signalling that they're engaging in some form of link-building/-buying/-baiting activity. Is there any way to yield this data (other than to record it manually after each Linkscape/OSE update) from SEOmoz PRO tools?
