Wich are the best IBL analysis tools on the web?

I know and use very often SEOmoz OSE. My question is about non-SEOmoz tools wich can detect a specific domain backlinks and all kind of parameters especially the IP of the backlinks. So: what do you use/recommend?

Not cheap but you could maybe get a lot out of - http://www.syntryx.com/
It'll give you IP, other sites that person owns, what vertical they're in, strength of sites and dozens of other things.

Case Study of Massively Successful Tool?
Hi, all. I'm working with a client and trying to come up with an example or two of a tool that attracted huge numbers of inbound links. What come to my mind is the original Zillow home pricing tool. When that came out, it kind of blew people's minds that you could put in any address in the United States and you'd get a (moderately) accurate assessment of a home value. If I recall, they got a bajillion links overnight. I don't need an example quite at that scale (in fact, a smaller success might be better), but I definitely want something a little more recent (even if just the last five years). Any suggestions for me? Much obliged. -Erik

Category pages ecommerce - SEO best practises
Hi there, I run an ecommerce company, www.footdistrict.com and we are trying to improve our rankings on head terms so we are optimizing our brand pages (ie http://footdistrict.com/marcas/nike.html) Note: a brand page is a category page on my store. We are adding descriptions of each category. This is great as we are adding value. On top of that, we want to add sub-categories just below the description. A sub-category is a family of items. The structure that we are trying to implement is: http://footdistrict.com/marcas/nike.html Nike History/Info of the brand Link Nike family of items A | Link Nike family of items B | Link Nike family of items C | Link Nike family of items C When you click on the first link of the left, you go to a page with all the products of that family and a title that matches the anchor of the category page. What do you think of this structure from a SEO perspective? How would you improve it? I see other ecommerce stores that use tabs or the internal search engine for these purposes. What are the benefits of each choice? Thanks and regards

Link Analysis shows no external sites linking to me?
Hi All, I hope you can help. Link Analysis shows no external sites linking to me? but I know for a fact there are. Why is this? I have submitted my site to a few local directories and can see my site is on their site but when I run a Link Analysis it shows that I have no links. Does anyone know why this is? Best to create a new blog as a subsection or as a new site?
Our company has a blog "feature" or "theme" that we'd like to publish every week at least. Should we create a subsection of our current company blog? Or should we register a new domain specifically for the feature? The latter would allow us to do some linking back to the main website, and would probably be good in terms of future career flexibility / personal branding for whoever writes it. Things to keep in mind? Anyone have any suggestions? Best practices? What should I do?

Pretty basic question on how best to start using open site Explorer
So I have spend around a month or so with on page optimization on 25 -30 or so pages and keywords/phrases, with some half decent results…still hoping there is more to come… I reckon now it’s time to look at getting more inbound links with Open site Explorer… Every time I look at it though I get a bit of a head ache…!
