How to set up SEOMOZ to track multilanguage sites?
-
Hi,
I am managing a site in 5 different languages/regions. Our language structure is as follows:
www.domain.com/en-us/ - For US
www.domain.com/en-uk/ - For UK
www.domain.com/fr/ - For France
...
However, SEOMOZ does not allow to set up a domain with "/" as a campaign. How can I do it?
Thanks
-
we have the same problem / request a feeback would be nice
-
Thanks! It makes sense
My only concern is that my "landing page" for each region is the www.domain.com/fr or www.domain.com/de. Therefore, my link structure is focused on these pages rather than www.domain.com, would it still work fine?
Regards

Hey
Why not just set the main domain so its tracked by the US, UK and FR search engines and then enter your keywords for each language these will then be easily picked out in an excel sheet.
The only ones you might have problems with are the UK and US with it being the same language but that is just a little bit more excel filtering.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Reliable Tracking of Campaign with Subdomain and Subfolder
Hi, i was wondering if i can rely on the tracking for a campaign like subdomain.example.com/subfolder/ The idea is to measure all the data regarding e.g. one specific language within a subdomain and use the tools based on this data. Thank you in advance.

Trying to create my cornerstone pages and I'd like to see which pages have the most internal links already to get started. Is there a tool for this?

How current is the data reflected in the SEOmoz toolbar?
Been using the SEOmoz toolbar for three weeks, yet nothing on my site seems to have changed in terms of rankings and metrics. How new or "fresh" is the data that the toolbar uses to come up with PA, mR, mT, DA, DmR, and DmT? How often does it update?

SEOmoz campaign - keyword rankings...
Hi there, I have a quick question: Does it make a difference if I add keywords to a campaign with the '[' and ']' brackets included? I just realized that I had copy/pasted many of my keywords from the exported CSV from the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and I fear that the keyword rankings on SEOmoz might factor the brackets as part of the keywords themselves. Thanks in advance! Ben

How to Link build for our site
Hello, A client of mine has a site that gives advice to people. It's moderately competitive. It's a content site. Using Open Site explorer, I looked up competitor's top pages and backlinks, and there were things such as sites that were heavy on directories, sites heavily on editorial mension, sites on juicy topics that I don't want to cover, and the rest was pretty much junk. Just so that you know, I only link build with quality websites that look strong, long term, have a nice design, are high quality, and are not a directory (with a few exceptions) What's the standard way to link build with a site like this? We've got 7 articles of good content that is from me spending hours learning about the subject and using my skills as a life coach. Right now I'm just adding quality content and social media. I am not a top expert in the field, but I'm learning as much as possible. How do we link build?

Why does Open Site Explorer show less inbound links than yahoo site Explorer?
Hello, We have a question regarding inbound link measurement. We used to measure our inbound links with yahoo site explorer. Now that it's been shut down we use opensiteexplorer.org. However, Open Site Explorer only shows a fraction of inbound links compared to yahoo site explorer. For our website www.theprintspace.co.uk yahoo site explorer measured approx. 14,000 inbound links, whereas open Site Explorer only counts approx. 3,000. This is more than 10,000 links less. For our other website www.theprintspace.de Open Site Explorer also shows 3000 links less than Yahoo. How can this be? Does Open Site Explorer count the links in a different way to Yahoo? Please explain. It would be great if you could help us with this. Thank you!
