How do I fix my errors
-
I don't even know what a meta data tag is.

We all started out not knowing what a meta tag is, or how important a good title tag is.
This website is a great place to learn and study & become knowledgeable in SEO.
The Get started guides are a great place to start.

Your Meta data tags are little pieces of code that tell the search engines about your site, sort of like an intro.
Your Meta Title tags are the titles of your site.
W3Schools also are a great web resource.
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_meta.asp
What I suggest is to take ONE page of your site that is NOT your home page (just in case you break it)
& use that as a sort of testing page, change your titles, meta tags, h1 tags, ad images add more text run an on page keyword report... just learning from one page will teach you how to adjust all your other pages.

With such an opening statement, I think you should hire someone.

Crawl Diagnostics - 350 Critical errors? But I used rel-canonical links
Hello Mozzers, We launched a new website on Monday and had our first MOZ crawl on 01/07/15 which came back with 350+ critical errors. The majority of these were for duplicate content. We had a situation like this for each gym class: GLOBAL YOGA CLASS (canonical link / master record) YOGA CLASS BROMLEY YOGA CLASS OXFORD YOGA CLASS GLASGOW etc All of these local Yoga pages had the canonical link deployed. So why is this regarded as an error by MOZ? Should I have added robots NO INDEX instead? Would think help? Very scared our rankings are gonna get effected 😞 Ben

Why would my site return an error when using Open Site Explorer to crawl it?
I have built several new sites over the last few months for others, but recently built a new one for myself. I have gone through most of the checklists from this site to address on-page SEO, and now I am looking at link building. When using Open Site Explorer, I receive an error saying that no information about the URL is available, even when I add competitor sites. Wondering if this is a common issue and if there is a convenient remedy? thanks!

On-Page SEO Fixes - Are They Relative?
So, I'm implementing on-page fixes for a site that my company runs SEO services for (www.ShadeTreePowersports.com). However, I was wondering if there was a way to rank a pages' SEO quality, in general? As of now, it seems like the only way your recommendations can be consumed and altered is on a keyword basis. However, this seems be the reason I have a good amount of my F-Grades. Since my website sells powersports apparel and accessories, we cover a variety of applicable (but different) keywords like 'Motorcycle parts' or 'snow tubes,' because we sell so many different types of products. But, when I look at my F-Grades - SEOMoz is telling me my homepage is ranking poorly for a multitude of those pertinent keywords - but only because my page isn't catered specifically to each of them (IE: 'Snowmobile Parts' - 'Water Sport Apparel') But, with so many different types of products, catering to a specific one is impossible and would be detrimental. Is there a way to see how a page ranks, without factoring in those keywords? Or a better way that I can use these recommendations more efficiently? Thanks guys!

Crawler reporting incorrect URLs, resulting in false errors...
The SEOmoz crawler is showing 236 Duplicate Page Titles. When I go in to see what page titles are duplicated I see that the URLs in question are incorrect and read "/about/about/..." instead of just "/about/" The shown page duplicates are the result of the crawler is ending up on the "Page not found" page. Could it be the result of using relative links on the site? Anything I can do to remedy? Thanks for your help! -Frank

Historical error info on SEOMoz?
Is it possible to get a report of errors that were on a site back in April? Does SEOMoz keep that data available? There was a big decline in the number of errors on one of my sites and I'm trying to go back and see what it was. --Steve
