Hi there,

I was just wondering if there was a way to go back to previous results of keywords I was tracking for a site?

My HDD crashed and lost the reports and was hoping to download the old reports.

Please let me know if this is possilbe.

I'm sorry to hear about the crash...what a bummer! Did you have any interruption in your Pro subscription?

Since SEOmoz is web-based, all of your historical research should be preserved. Under your campaign manager, click, "See All Keyword Rankings". From that link you will find a list of keywords and can click to view their historical performance.

Of course, if you cancelled your subscription or failed to renew it, that information is not likely to be recovered.

Hi! G’day to you. I am Naresh from Dotline Infotech. I’d like to take up couple of concerns to be clarified for my better understanding on Moz tool. Indeed, Moz is a nice SEO tool that helps in improving Search engine optimization comprehensive process. We are moz pro member since a year. Moz has equally bifurcated every SEO activity and rate it according to its own benchmark. I intend to ask a series of concerns; Q1. Moz has page grading system A to F. According to Moz guidelines, if the keywords on the page gets repeated minimum 4 times, Moz consider it as ‘A’ grading (one of Moz metric to evaluating the page). Whereas, Google indicates repetition of same keywords time and again is treated as keyword stuffing. According to me, if keywords are already within the content one or two time and furnishing relevant information, why keywords re-occurrence to be 4 time. Does the repetition of same keywords 4 times will lead to give more valuable information? Just a request to let me share why we should unnecessarily repeat keywords? Q2. As per Google guidelines, only 3 keywords can be placed in title tag and also advisable to use only one h1 tag instead of multiple. Among 3 keywords in title tag, only one main keyword can be used in H1 tag. Moz gives much weight age to that particular keyword placed in H1 tag but rest two keywords does not get any importance. I just like to know if we use three H1 tags within page, will it increase the page grading or not. Q3. Does Moz tool have its own index data or refer to Google’s ones? Q4. Following the Moz guidelines completely, will it be 100% sure all our keyword rankings, page authority, domain authority certainly be improved. Looking forward to hear you soon. Thanks

How do I search for keywords or events within my facebook and twitter pages?

Hi all, I work for a bicycle component manufacturer. We have a group of different facebook and twitter pages each covering different aspects of our market ie: mountain biking, road biking, and urban biking. I am wondering if it is possible to apply the keywords function of moz to my firm's individual facebook and twitter pages? I would like to be able to search for specific products that we have launched in the past. I am trying to collect the amount of social media responses we have received for certain products. It would be great if I could even search for sentiments about the products we have launched. Thank you!

How do you explain this in this Keyword Difficulty Report?

Hello here, I am trying to understand how my site virtualsheetmusic.com can better compete for the keyword "sheet music download" where we used to be 3rd until a few months ago, and now we are at the 5th spot. But here is my specific question: I can't find an explanation why two of our competitors are ranked before us at the 3rd and 4th spot. Please, look at the attached image (very wide) which shows the Keyword Difficulty Report for this keyword. You can also download a PDF of it here below: http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/storage/keyword-sheet-music-download.pdf We are at the 5th spot, and the two competitors highlighted in pink are the ones I am talking about: I am trying to understand why they are ranking better than us, despite our metrics look much better than theirs. In fact, if I look at the metrics in the report, I can't find an explanation to justify their outrank against us, so there must be something else that the report is missing. Major Keyword Ranking Drops INCORRECT

For multiple clients I have seen a drop of more than 10 ranking spots for keywords we previously placed well for and made no changes to those pages. We decided to manually check where the pages are and majority of these keywords showing crazy declines are really sitting in position #2 without SPYW, with the rest still being in on 1st page. Now we have to personally check these dropping rankings and manually change them for reports. Any reason for this? Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Keyword rankings tool not fully populated today?

I logged in today and my rankings are normally crawled on Thurs, and of my 66 keywords only 6 of them are showing any data - the rest are all blank. It's been going for weeks so it's not like it doesn't have it's initial data yet. I presume this is some issue or artifact that the results haven't been input yet. Can someone help answer this?

Idea for the Best Method of getting REAL Keyword Search Data

I've been using googles keyword tools to get keyword search data, but I'm pretty sceptical of some of the results it throws out on number of searches. On a number of keywords - particularly when you get to longtail, I've seen results which cannot possibly be right. So - I am trying to find out a way of getting REAL data I can trust. Here are my thoughts on a possible method of getting this key data:
1/. Firstly I am taking on the assumption that the adwords campaign monitoring statistics are more reliable and accurate than the keyword research tools - correct me if I am wrong! 2/. Then take a load of keywords you wish to monitor and create didfferent ads for them based of EXACT match. 3/. Make sure non of your adverts conflict with each other, so you may have to turn off any other campaigns you have running. 4/. Put you bids and available spend as high as possible, so that ideally you will your ads will always be shown for every search match, and ideally always come in No1 spot on the ads. IE your aim is to create a neutral environment where your ads are shown for every search match and appear in the exact same position for each search match. Run the campaign for a period of time long enough to be confident that you have enough search data. From this you should have the vital data on keyword searches done on your exact match keywords. 5/. Repeat the test, but this time use phrase matches and again make sure there are no conflicts. 6/. Repeat again with broad match - this would require very careful implimentation not to have any conflicts and you would likely need to make heavy use of the "Not Include" keywords. What are your thoughts on the above process? - Any flaws, or other better solutions? Obviously one key thing with doing this is you need to have to be prepared to have a decent budget to get this data - but it won't be wasted as you will also be getting the adwords traffic. Thanks

Where do I find "URLs Receiving Entrances Via Search" and "Non-Paid Keywords Sending Search Visits" in Google Analytics?

These are two metrics highlighted in the "Organic Traffic Data" report in the PRO campaigns. Since this report is composed of data linked from Google Analytics, I bet there's a way to find this same information in GA. So...anyone know how to do that in Google Analytics? I want this information for some long-tail productivity/potential research.
