301 Permanently Moved Redirect
-
After completing a crawl of my website: www.getyourphotosonchavas.com
I noticed that all of the pages had a 301 Redirect?
There is this huge amount of what appears to be corrupted
data for each of these pages:Please see the attached Crawl report and a test ran from a crawl spider.
It looks like each page is a 301 redirect to itself?
Can anyone please tell me what all this means?

Thanks,
I guess my best bet is to get with Bluehost on this!
Thanks again for your help.

It will probably be in the root folder for your site as .htaccess or in the vhosts folder on your server for your domain in the vhost.conf file, but not sure...I found this on the bluehost website that gives a good example of a 301 redirect:
https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/htaccess_redirect
It may be helpful in directing you where you need to look.

Thanks for the quick reply,
I'm new at this, where would I find my redirect code?
the site is a Wordpress site with Bluehost.

It looks like something is wrong with your redirect...what does your redirect code look like?

Unsolved Bug in site crawl analysis - 308 redirect flagged as temporary

How to Check 301 Done Properly on Homepage
Hi All, I posted previously about this, and had some good advice (thanks!)... but not quite sure my problem has been fixed. About a month ago we changed our hosting over, and our dev didn't coordinate to have both versions of our homepage redirected to the same URL. Our crawl showed up with every single page as duplicate content, and our organic traffic has since dropped by over 60%. They have told me that it is fixed as of last Monday, and a redundant error that was appearing in my Google Analytics now says that it has been fixed, but Moz crawled my site 2 days ago and still says everything is duplicate content, and my organic traffic is stressing me out! Any advice on how I can check this is done for myself, rather than trusting these guys haven't messed it up any further? Or is it possible the Moz crawl is a bit slower? Thanks in advance.

Add to cart redirect using 302
I am getting a list of crawl errors in Moz because I am using a 302 redirect when people click on an item using the quickview add to cart eg:http://copyfaxes.com/cart/quickadd?partno=4061 will redirect them to the viewshoppingcart page. Is this wrong should this be a 301 redirect? There is no link juice to pass. Thanks

I did a redirect and now I'm getting duplication errors.
I was told by SEO Moz to do a redirect so that our website would be crawled with and without the www in front of the address. I did and now I'm getting duplicate page and title errors because the crawler is seeing www.oursitename.com and its underpages and oursitename.com and its underpages and giving me duplicate page content errors and duplicate page title errors. Makes sense, but how do I make it stop? Anyone else have this problem?

Way too many 301 redirects
Hi Guys Posting here again in regard to 301 redirects, SEOMOZ has just finished my second crawl, and its showing me nearly 4k 301 redirects, i am only tracking my new site which by the way changed domain name , however all im doing is tracking the new domain and there are no 301 implemented on that side (Except Canonical), so was wondering how SEOMoz is finding 4k of redirects. do you think it could be chaining somewhere ? as all the tests look good or could there be a problem with the reporting
