I'm looking for a UK seo company, any recommendations?
-
I don't want to go into a massive amount of detail here.
I need 100% whitehat link building services. Nothing shady!
Anyone have some recommendations? Budget is about £500 a month.

Hello David
I know someone who works for one for the biggest UK companies in SEO and he does some private stuff! He can help you if you want details etc
-
Thanks for the comments Thomas (very fair)
I run SEO training courses throughout the UK
and manage several link building campaigns for some well known (and some not so well known) UK clients
Always happy to chat, and i can also refer some UK web developers for those that are interested

UPDATE
Chris is not someone I would use
I have to say I do not know Chris but I looked at his site and it looks good. He looks like he knows what is doing I obviously cannot vouch for somebody had to not know but most people here are fairly honest and knowledgeable. The one thing Chris does have over me is he is in the UK. I will give my information if you do end up needing It. One thing I will leave you with is that conversion rate would get you one month of link building from a company called vast visionSEO http://www.vvseoco.com/seo-services.php They are employing very many ex- SEO.com guys that really know what they're talking about. I would definitely talk to Chris as he seems like a cool guy and his site is very good I'm sorry my site right now is under construction. So I think the right thing to do would endorse Chris is in the UK if you guys have an issue my Info is below. I can get you very good work for that money.
All the best,

Hi Dave,
I know that unless you're looking to work with people face-to-face it does not matter very much where they are. I have some extremely talented link builders that work for me. I could come in and under that budget depending on exactly what you're looking for everything is 100% white hat. Let me know if you would be interested. I am in the United States. The reason you get them for less money is from what I understand the conversion rate would be roughly $700 to be on the safe side pending 100% on what you want I know I can get good work done for you 100% white hat with proven portfolios.

Can not get the ranking needle to move even after a year with a US based SEO company
Hello community, I have spent the last 16 months spending lots of money on our USA Based SEO company and on content. For some reason. The powers who may be at Google are not giving us any love. I am beginning to become very dissapointed after all of our efforts. We did have a link penalty a year ago however that has long ago been removed. We have been doing everything our SEO company has asked us but the needle is not moving. Any ideas for us? http://tinyurl.com/n2yoeyn Thank you in advance. Chris

What Keeps In-House SEOs Up @ Night
We are writing a research summary piece on in-house seo strategies. We're not trying to solve the worlds problems - we simply want to know what problems you face and how you try and solve them. We've broken our research into three key areas (training, value, and measurement). We would greatly appreciate your insights, thoughts, and recommendations. We will share our final paper (with sources) when completed. Here are the questions we're asking: How do you train and support your seo team? How do you show SEO value in the wake of Google algo changes including (keyword not provided)? How can SEO show value to other parts of the organization including market research, product managers, channel managers, etc? What should you be measuring and who should reports go to? Google number one search result looks drastically different in firefox compared to chrome
I just noticed this today that some websites and brands look like this on firefox only, and others while still being number one result for their brand name, do not appear like this at all. also, this does not happen over chrome at all. both images provided for comparison are using the same google apps account logged in. It would be nice if someone could shed some light on as to why this happens sporadically and what does it take to be distinguished like this for your own brand if you own the identical domain.com or whatever. SEO-contests like “hochgeschwindigkeitsSEO” worldwide?
In Germany people out of the SEO industry seem to love SEO contests - the latest one being to bring up the keyword “hochgeschwindigkeitsSEO” on Pos. 1 on Google until a set time (contest entry example here). There obviously is a price (newest iPhone) and a sponsor (Randolf Jorberg), but for the most part it's a contest which holds the Olympic thought: Being there just means most of it 🙂 So I was wondering: are there any other countries where such contests are being held? I have not heard of any examples and I am quite curious if any other SEO communites out there have something similar going on 🙂

Best way to recruit quality SEO staff?
We are in a nice position in that we are growing everyday. As the result, we need more staff, but do not have the time to bring along someone without any real SEO background. I have used just about every source over the years to hire people with good and bad result.

For an SEO, with experience in some or all of the process: Link building, Keyword Analysis Site evaluation, eCommerce, Analytics... where do you go to find someone good? What about to find them yesterday? 😉 Obviously, they do not have to be expert at all, but they need to be familiar with all and have experience in at least two or three.1
