Regardless of why your question wasn't accepted or not by the system, I'll provide the answer to your question...
The pipe (|) symbol has been used in page titles for many years now, it used to best practice to format your page titles something such as the following:-
Keyword 1 | Keyword 2 | Keyword 3 :: Company / Brand Name
With the keywords being in the order of priority that you wish a search engine to perceive as being the most important for that particular page.
Search has evolved since then and everything Google look for is natural look and feel serving the most relevant and useful content for the end user so it is now advisable to write page titles manually and natural in the sense that it should read well, like a short, descriptive sense describing the particular page.
Check out this for further information which discusses writing page titles that will have the best chance of performing on the web.

My point is that I asked the following question:
"Some Top companies are now using the spacer " | " instead of a comma in the Page Title ie "Spinning | Fly Fishing Tackle | Lure Fishing Tackle | Carp Fishing" (ct Spinning, Fly Fishing Tackle, Lure Fishing Tackle, Carp Fishing) Is ther any benefit in doing this"
I added the information below
<title>Spinning | Fly Fishing Tackle | Lure Fishing Tackle | Carp Fishing</title>
The question could not be submitted because it said that there were less than 5 characters in the question - which was nonsense

Well, the answer is quite simple. SEOMoz expects you to provide the full details while asking any question. so that people who are answering your question won't any ambiguity. and they could understand your problem properly.
Though, in a few cases only one liner is sufficient but still, majority of queries need some details to get answered.
Apart from that, SEOMoz has also imposed this restriction to avoid spam. and it's for our benefit only, SEOMoz doesn't get anything out of it.
Hope I was able to answer your query properly.

'Security error' for links accessed via Facebook on Android phones
Hi, This is not strictly a SEO/inbound marketing question, so please excuse me for that--- but I think this awesome community could certainly help 🙂 We recently migrated a client website to https (SSL from Godaddy; the hosting provider is a different one). All that went fine. The problem though is that when a link from the website is shared on Facebook or sent via Whatsapp, and a user tries to open the page on any Android device, it throws up a Security Error. On the Facebook app, it doesn't allow the user to go any further. It seems that this problem is not unique and many others have raised it in various forums -- we've tried many of the options mentioned; have tried to work with Godaddy support as well ---- but the problem persists. Any solution(s)/fixes will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Manoj

Pageless/Single Page Design and Migration Questions
Hello, We are starting a content audit and migration to a new CMS. We would like to take content and present more on a pageless/Single Page type design instead of having visitors drill down so many levels to find the content. What should we be aware of from an SEO perspective. Here is Example of current pages and structure: http://www.saintpetershcs.com/GraduateMedicalEducation/PediatricResidency/

Subpages include: Overview, Curriculum, Faculty, Residents, Benefits, How to APply Here is example of what we would like to do:

Can multiple domains compete with one another if they have the same/similar content?
Could an ecommerce site with a .co.nz nd .com.au domain compete with one another and hard organic rankings if the content of the pages are the same? All the links would be identical (apart from .co.nz or .com.au) the product descriptions, pages titles etc... would all be identical or similar (our page titles are ever so slightly different). Could this be hurting us? Thanks in advance ^ Paul

Pin It Button, Too Many Links, & a Javascript question...
One of the sites I work for has some massive on-page link problems. We've been trying to come up with workarounds to lower the amount of links without making drastic changes to the page design and trying to stay within SEO best practices. We had originally considered the NoFollow route a few months back but that's not viable. We changed around some image and text links so they were wrapped together as one link instead of being two links to the same place. We're currently running tests on some pages to see how else to handle the issue. What has me stumped now though is that the damned Pinterest Pin Button counts as an external link and we've added it to every image in our galleries. Originally we found that having a single Pin It button on a page was pulling incorrect images and not listing every possible image on the page... so to make sure that a visitor can pin the exact picture they want, we added the button to everything. We've been seeing a huge uptick in Pinterest traffic so we're definitely happy with that and don't want to get rid of the button. But if we have 300 pictures (which are all links) on a page with Pin It buttons (yet more links) we then have 600+ links on the page. Here's an example page: http://www.fauxpanels.com/portfolio-regency.php When talking with one of my coders, he suggested some form of javascript might be capable of making the button into an event instead of a link and that could be a way to keep the Pin It button while lowering on-page links. I'm honestly not sure how that would work, whether Google would still count it as a link, or whether that is some form of blackhat cloaking technique we should be wary of. Do any of you have experience with similar issues/tactics that you could help me with here? Thanks. TL;DR Too many on page links. Coder suggests javascript "alchemy" to turn lead into gold button links into events. Would this lower links? Or is it bad? Form of Cloaking?

Rephrasing my question: I have no search traffic -- I would love some feedback
I just posted a question: http://www.seomoz.org/q/am-i-on-the-right-track-still-not-seeing-results-in-rank-traffic-etc An it already has 63 views and one response, but I think I may have phrased the question wrong. I would love a little feedback on my site - I have zero search traffic -- none. I find that odd. I am not sure if it "just takes time" and I need to be patient, or if I am doing something really obviously wrong. I have been really amazed by what I have read so far in this community, and have learned a ton. In my previous question, I listed all the things I am doing -- and I think I have the basics down pat. Should I not have at least 1 visitor per day? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!

I know frames aren't good, but are they bad?
About 3/4 of my website includes frames from the Amazon aStore, but the pages also have at least 500 words of content on them each. I understand that spiders aren't too good with frames but will search engines punish my site for having them or just disregard them? Thanks in advance.

Can't figure out what's going on with these strange 403's
The last crawl found a good number of 404's and I can't figure out what's going on. I don't even recognize these links. What's really strange is a few of them high a fairly decent page authority. For instance this one has a PA of 55: http://noahsdad.com/?path=http%3A%2F%2Feurosystems.it%2Fconf_commerciale%2Fimages%2Fdd.gif%3F%3F There are several more like this one also, it seems most of these new ones have "Feurosystems" in the link...I have no idea what that is. Just curious what you guys think is going on, why these are 404'ing, and how to fix it. Thanks. Edit: I took out the "%" from the links and I get this: http://noahsdad.com/?path=http3A2F2Feurosystems.it2Fconf_commerciale2Fimages2Fdd.gif3F3F which takes me to a page on my site. I have no idea what's going on, or what that link is. Hoping someone can chime in because this is strange. Another edit: I just checked out the Google Webmaster's and it looks like these errors are 403's and all started around March 21st. I have no idea what happend on March 21st to start causing all of these errors, but I'd sure like to get it fixed. 🙂
