How to make my infogaphics interesting?
-
What is it that makes people share and spread infographics? How can I make my infographics interesting and encourage people to re-post it?
-
Hi Harry
What you value most about infographics you find? RELEVANT or CLEAR info. Look for anything interesting but not well explained, or something not write yet... and of course... Google Webmaster Blog: there are a lot of changes and always new information is required for users.
The hardest is write the first... then a lot of ideas will cross your mind.

How to Rank for "Interesting Finds" on Google Mobile?
Hi! Some of the sites I work with, when doing searches for their top terms, I am seeing some articles listed under "Interesting Finds". I have read some people thought it deals with AMP, others do not. Some thing it has to do with the structured data added to the page, some do not. Does anyone have a definitive answer on how to increase your chances of being listed here? Any example is attached. Any ideas? Uoi4Jyh

SEO things that make you say "what!?"
Hi everyone, I'm a recent(ish) beginner to SEO, and while I feel I've got a good grounding in the industry now, there are still certain aspects that make me say "what!?". I'm looking to write a blog post on this and would love to know what parts of SEO still confuse you or make you say "what!?", and explain them from a semi-beginners point of view. Any comments appreciated! Thanks!

Does putting a Google custom search box on make Google think my users are bouncing?
I added a Google custom search box to my pages, that's doing an advanced Google search. A lot of people are using it. So users are coming to my site from a Google search, and then often performing another Google search on my site. Should I be worried that Google may interpret the resultant user behavior as a bounce or pogo-stick? Or will the fact that the second search occurred on my site, using custom search, and with advanced parameters signal to Google that this is not a dissatisfied user returning to Google? Thanks

Should I make multiple landing pages for different cities?
I am trying to market my company to North Carolina & West Virginia. This is a bit of a challenge since the name is "Decorative Concrete of Virginia." My idea was to create landing pages for the specific areas (Greensboro & Raleigh, NC for now).... A new landing page them that I purchased came with a plugin that would allow you to generate a ton of landing pages with little effort by replacing some elements of the landing page, depending on the URL... For example, I have these two URLs set up right now: http://www.decorativeconcreteofvirginia.com/northcarolina/test/raleigh/nc http://www.decorativeconcreteofvirginia.com/northcarolina/test/greensboro/nc My question is... Is merely changing the city in each landing page enough, or should I change some of the other content too? I was going to create one landing page for NC, and then try to include all of the cities on that one page... but perhaps it would be easier to rank if I had one for each city. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tim

Does Prefix of my URL make any difference?
Hello, I have a website which is initially appeared in search engine as without www. Last week I made changes in preferred domain name that it appeared with www. In search engine it still shows as without www. I notified to google through webmaster tools that now my domain name is with www but it still shows without www. I want to know that does it affect in SEO and rankings. In Google webmaster tools I added my url with and without www however I kept preferred domain as with www. Do I need to make any extra changes in order to avoid confusion for search engines. Please guide. Thanks

How to Make My Membership Pages More SEO Friendly
I'm working on a website that has multiple member pages. They are generated generically by the cms. Think of this website as a convention visitors bureau. Is it possible or is there a way that I can make the individual member pages more seo friendly. Other than the url structure, do anyway have any advice.

Making a site back link checker proof
Is it possible to make your site un readable by the back link checkers such as open explorer ? Or would it have a negative effect on search engine rankings. Sorry I have been in the business for 10 years and it has never crossed my mind. Figured I would say that before I get all the "I can't believe you don't know that" type comments 🙂
