Link Building Services Post Penguin
-
Hi
Can anyone suggest a link building service that is of higher quality and still works nowadays? All the private networks were deindexed and it looks like we're left only with blasting software, which i don't really like.
I am doing research on link building now and i can't seem to find any service that meets the quality of BMR or other deindexed Homepage Networks.
Thanks!

Mr. Thomas is correct - BMR was no better than any other article marketing service.
They didn't do spun content, but they let anything through the review process. They also had extremely poor support for creating an article with any type of media or custom styles -- they set themselves up for disaster. And their special 100-word blog post service was by definition a grave SEO mistake.
I canceled my membership six months before they bit the dust because they ignored my suggestions to fix these simple items.
To add, I also would not call this a private network. Anyone with $67 could get into the network. That isn't very private is it?
So is article marketing dead? No. You just have to focus more on guest posting unique content and participating in networks that require quality content. Even Unique Article Wizard was hit but isn't completely dead. They still practice spun content though, so I'd suppose it's not exactly still a long term solution (although they got through panda just fine)
The owner of One Hour Backlinks made a comment a few days back about his service, recommending it as a supplement to your link building campaign. Maybe commenting on auto-approve blogs worked for him, but I'd strongly recommend staying away from this.
SEO is quickly becoming synonymous with marketing, building PR, and networking. Rand did a post on this not too long ago I believe.

....
Not to be a jerk, but "Quality of BMR" hehe BMR had no quality standards... As the sites they used held absolutely no user value.... (who would go to a crappy blog, with crappy content, about crappy sites?)
Not trying to be rude, but just pointing out that if BMR was your standard of High quality, then you might be looking to get yourself in more trouble...
IMHO of course
sorry not to really answer your question, but the question is almost impossible to answer.... As if another BMR type network sprung up, it would be a gamble and high risk to use it.
I personally would stick with services like Myblogguest and put out quality content there, and on your own site - forgetting the "network" mentality.

Looking for a trusted link building service
Can anyone recommend a service to build quality links to our site and work with us on a content strategy, preferably UK based? We have recently recovered from a link penalty and whilst this has been removed we now need to re-build a quality bank link profile. I've looked into the Moz recommendations but not many seem to be based in the UK or if that doesn't matter then I'd be interested to know people's experience. Basically, since the penalty we've become very nervous about link building even though we didn't necessarily create the problem! As a small team we've looked to outsource this and have looked at VA's but not confident the links they will achieve will be of good quality

Site Published Our Guest Post but Removed the Link Back
I recently developed a nice article for a career site and they agreed to publish it as a guest post. Once they published the article I noticed they had removed the link back to my site in the byline. What is a best way to approach this situation? Would you ask them to take down the article if they are unwilling to link back to your site?

Penguin Recover: Remove links vs Burry Links
The best is to do both. However with those with limited resources, would building more links with branded and naked URL anchor links be a better solution than painstakingly asking every webmaster to remove links.

Are the following considered bad links for Link Building.
I've been doing a lot of research lately on link building & I've read a lot about having a diverse amount of links. Social links, Blog links, comment links, footer links, No follow links, Directory links as well as links with Anchor text URL match, brand match, partial brand match, non-descriptive, and with keywords. But there is a lot of talk of removing those links that look like a site that's built just for link building purposes.... but Directories are basically built for link building are they not? I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they feel links from the following directories would be bad links. (Non-Paid) http://www.yoganza.com http://www.wkool.com http://www.wee-directory.com http://www.voicelet.com www.hotfrog.ca http://www.webdirectorieslist.com http://multiplelistingboard.com http://mozdirectory.net http://freedirectorypr.info Industry specific below: http://bestautolinks .com http://automotivedome.com http://automobilebuzz.com http://craigsautolinks.com Thanks so much for the help!
