Warrior Forum, Is it good for seo?

The Warrior Forum just changed there membership from free to paid. They have do follow attributes but I was wondering what peoples take is on joining them for both learning and seo purposes?

Agreed with everyone above. I started there as well and got fed up with the "overnight results, push-button easy!". There are some smart people with good stuff on there, but too much to wade through to find it. Your time is much better spent on SEOmoz, in my opinion

Skip it. You feel like taking a shower after spending time on this site. Seems to be mostly a bunch of small-time sleazebags trying to con each other into spending a few bucks of marketing guides that provide... Secret Tips! Get Rick Quick Schemes ! There may be a little worthwhile info on the site, but it's a very bad neighborhood, IMHO.

Like others have said, you have to wade through a lot of noise to find the nuggets of good content on the Warrior Forum. However, the paid forum has a better S/N ratio than the free forum, and it's a fairly inexpensive one-time fee to join, so I think it's a pretty good deal. I am personally a member.

 SEOmoz FTW!

I completely agree with Ben. You can find a lot of useful info on the Warrior forums and there are some really good SEO's on there but you often have to wade through a lot of misleading information to get to the real pearls of wisdom. I probably wouldn't pay for acces to it either.

Hi Joel, I used to spend a ton of time on the Warrior forum. Every once in a while there is a worthwhile discussion, but mostly people are looking to sell their products. When I first became interested in SEO, I even bought a few of their guides. And while they were not completely useless, most of them didn't tell me anything that I could not have learned for free on a blog. I personally would not pay for being a member of the Warrior Forum. In the Post-Penguin world, many of the tactics expoused there are not only useless, but can be detrimental to the health of your websites. Maybe I am painting with too broad a brush, but there it is.

You can learn a lot. But what you'll learn is probably a lot different from what you'll hear on SEOMoz. I wouldn't want to say that one is right and one is wrong but right now I wouldn't pay for access to Warrior Forums.

Unsolved Are links from staff profile pages no longer good for SEO?
Hey there, We run a small site that lists lawyers and we have an opportunity to ask the lawyers to display a 'badge' on their own website's staff page, linked back to the page on our site that they are listed on. Initially I thought this would be good link building (i.e. the lawyer's own staff/profile pages on their website linking to our site where they are listed = a highly relevant link). I was less concerned about the authority of the law firm's sites, though these will range from sometimes low-ish to medium. I just assumed that Google would see the value in the lawyer wanting to link to our site where they are listed. However, our SEO has said that these days Google doesn't give much/any value to these types of links from individual staff pages. His advice was to try and get the badge added to one of their service pages (or their About page) which will be unlikely as the badge is person-specific. I thought I'd ask if this was everyone else's experience regarding Google not valuing links from individual staff pages? Thanks for you help 🙂 Link Building | | Andy-H0

What impact does multiple links from the same c-block have on SEO?
Recently there's been a move made in my company to only allow backlinks from websites on different c-block IP addresses. The most links we have from one c-block is 15. There is a wide variety of other IP addresses linking to our site as well. My question is - do we need to be so restrictive with using websites from the same c-block as long as the neighbourhood is good and we're not linking sites with full identical IPs (matching d-block as well)? Does embedded content (from my site) help seo
hi i am creating a new accommodation site and will have some great videos on it (fly bys of local beaches and virtual tours of hotels etc). from an seo perspective i have two questions: 1. should i host on my own site or youtube/vimeo - its a new site but in the long run i want my site to get the credit 2. i will be giving the hotels the chance to embed and video content i have on their own sites. does this help my own seo juice and if so is there a particular way it should be done. there will be around 90 well established local hotels in total so figured it should add up. 1000 of links on my website ? is it good or bad
Hi guys my site: www.dorchdanola-netbutik.dk is a e-commerce store, and generally we have many links on all pages because of the many products and categories. Im not sure if this is actually bad or good? I've been told that it will definately harm my site when google crawls it. The thing is that google visit my site often and I still have good pageranks in google. So does it actually harm my site having all these products and categories? And what can I do about it if google see every page as duplicate content? I also link to my social pages like FB, G+, e.g. Should I put rel="nofollow" or rel="me" on these social links? Thanks guys! Content toggle, tabs ad accordion for seo text
Hello there, I have two questions. 1. I want to ad seo text in content toggles, tabs and accordions. does Google robots view as seo text , eg, H1 text as it would be written direct on the page? 2. About Pinguin and link building. I am seeing up an onlineprintshop, where any industry can become a client. Lets say a medical company will be our client for prints. If they link back to our onlineprint page does Goole evaluates the link as a link from a related industry. Thanks for your kind answer. Kind Regards Mike 8bMCt Link Building | | niceguyseo0
