Hi I keep getting errors for duplicate content and long url, when i look at these pages its all related to the news pages on my sites how do i define each new news article?

How do you post your news articles to your site currently?
Are the articles unique content, or are you sourcing your content from elsewhere?

I'm trying to encourage content editors to only post content in either English or French. For example we have a French press release but the team are wanting it on our site in French and English. I thought this would fall under duplicate content rules. Does google penalize you if you post content in French and English on a website?

Content Writing - it should be for the main corporate site, blog or for social media?

Hi There, I have my main site : example.com and a related blog https://blog.example.com/ My management does not believe frequent content posting on the example.com My Queries 1- Will it help boost ranking of **example.com **if we share frequent content on our blog https://blog.example.com/? How much impact it has? 2- Every body says content is the king, Ok fine, but when you are not allowed to share it on the main corporate site, then where to share it? Blog and social media sites? please help. 3- We are in a business where clients do not bother to go on sites and read, so in this scenario is it correct to say that you hav to create the content for search engine consumption even when your clients dont need it/or have not in the habit of reading it? Duplicate Ttile and Duplicate Content

I'm a beginner of SEO. I have a few questions need to ask people to help. The MozPro's Crawl Diagnostics show I have a lot of duplicate titles and duplicate content. However, most duplicate titles are related to Pagination. What should I do? Also, for my duplicate content. B/c we are selling similar products,everything all most the same, only product's item number different. How can I avoid it?

Where to add content

Hello, In looking at GA for a client, his top 100 landing pages are all category pages with only a slight amount of articles and product pages. We haven't added content to the product pages, we just rewrote descriptions for unique content. They are about 100-200 words per product. Does that mean we should focus on adding content to category pages first? We're thinking of totaling 500 words or so (though less sometimes) of quality content to category pages. Your recommendations?

Crawl error vs RSS feed content

Hi, I have a BuddyPress Multisite with sites dedicated to specific RSS feeds. I did this to pull in the content for my users. But they generate a 1000s of SEMOZ errors/warnings for dup content, dup titles, missing metatags. etc. So does keeping the content help my site SEO less than the errors? The content is not under my control so I have no way to relate it to my keywords. Any opinions? I can recreate these RSS sites, so I will probably delete them to see what happens. Larry

Wordpress Duplicate Pages/ URL's - Help !

Hi guys, I have been running SEOMoz for just over a month and slowly cleaning up one of my Wordpress Blogs. While going through the crawl reports I have noticed that I have duplicate pages showing on the crawl. For example, the main post would be; www.xxxxx.com/blog/post-title Then I see another URL which would be; **www.xxxx.com/blog/page/59 ** When I click on either URL it goes back to the actual post title URL. What's with these page URL's ? Isn't these two URL's showing duplicate content to the search engines ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If our pages are to have roughly 30% of non-original textual content, can we be penalized by Google? Or are we OK as long as this non-original content is relevant to the pages?
