Randomly Displayed Text: Hidden text issue?

I want to add some script to my site so that a given page publishes a different paragraph of text every time the page loads. Something like randomly displayed testimonials (but with more text).
So, when you look at the page source, you would see all the text (e.g testimonial-1, testimonial-2, etc.), but the user would only see one paragraph randomly.
Would this be considered hidden text (one code for search engine, one for use)? Is there a safe number of words you can do this with without setting off red flags?

You can simply use a bit of ajax or javascript to do this or even a dynamic php script.
Search engines will see all of the text within the html, as all you are doing is showing the user certain parts of the text. It is completely fine, search engines are ok with this.
You should however give the option so that the user can choose to view other testimonials.

SEO issues with masking blog domain?
We have a client who would like to move their Wordpress blog into a different server from their main site's server for security reasons. However, the blog is almost 10 years old with good traffic and rankings and we'd rather not have them change the domain. The developer has come back with a URL "masking" rule in .htaccess that will display the contents of the blog placed in the new server under a subdomain but still show the blog's original URL. If we block the new subdomain from indexing to avoid duplicate content - are there any SEO implications for doing this? Will Google see it as a deceptive practice and tank the blog's rankings? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Weird Indexation Issue
On this webpage, we have an interactive graphic that allows users to click a navigational element and learn more about an anatomical part of the knee or a knee malady. For example, a user could click "Articular Cartilage" and they will land on this page: http://www.neocartimplant.com/knee-anatomy-maladies/anatomy/articular-cartilage The weird thing is whether you perform a Google Search for the above URL or for a string of text on that URL (i.e. "Articular cartilage is hyaline cartilage (as opposed to menisci, which consists of fibrocartilage) on the articular surfaces, or the ends, of bones. This thin, smooth tissue lines both joint surfaces where the bones come together to form the knee. SEO issues with removing a forum from a site
I'm thinking of adding a Discourse discussion forum to one of my websites. I'm not sure if it's going to be something that works well or not for the site. So I'm thinking ahead and wondering what Google issues I could have if after a few months of having the forum, I decide to remove it. What would Google think about all the then non-existent pages it might have indexed? Would there be a simple wildcard redirect I could do in htaccess that would satisfy that? Or some other thing I should do?

Crawling issue
Hello, I am working on 3 weeks old new Magento website. On GWT, under index status >advanced, I can only see 1 crawl on the 4th day of launching and I don't see any numbers for indexed or blocked status. | Total indexed | Ever crawled | Blocked by robots | Removed |

| 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | I can see the traffic on Google Analytic and i can see the website on SERPS when i search for some of the keywords, i can see the links appear on Google but i don't see any numbers on GWT.. As far as I check there is no 'no index' or robot block issue but Google doesn't crawl the website for some reason. Any ideas why i cannot see any numbers for indexed or crawled status on GWT? The Affects of Removing Anchor Texts from Super Menu on Homepage
Hi, Currently we have a div that drops down our super menu which has subcategories, ie. under Shop by Color (super menu) Black Ties, Blue Ties, Brown Ties, et, al. (see Ties.com Anchor Text image attached) If we were to remove these subcategories from the div (in other words, they do not get crawled from homepage, will we loose ranking for those keywords? We are trying to reduce link count on homepage. Thoughts? UBHu8.png

Importance of text above the fold
I am being advised by an SEO that each page of my ecommerce site must have a significant block of unique text "above the fold" to do well in Google post-Panda. This recommendation is at odds with what my design/usability/conversion people want to see. The current site design features eye-catching graphics just below the header and goes right into product listings, with SEO text near the bottom of the page. How important is it to have SEO text near the top of a page?
