Best SEO Strategy for Social Games

Hi all - wondering if you can help....
We have a social gaming startup with a few million users. Our first game is http://iamplayr.com (currently just a landing page) - now we're just about to launch some more games. We'll have approx 6 titles by the end of the year (note most of our users are on Facebook.com).I'm a little unsure the best way to approach this from an SEO perspective. 1) Should we direct everything to a games specific .com site like http://iamplayr.com -> and if so, should we build out this site to attract more keywords2) Direct everything to our Facebook app e.g. http://farmville.com 3) Have 1 central site for our multiple titles, with each game having a subdomain e.g. ala King.com / Zynga.com etc? What you recommend? Our goal is to have a managable 'off Facebook' strategy that attracts maximum organic traffic for keywords e.g. 'free football game' etc

I myself would go at like this:
Have a branded domain, which has all the apps in a list and some content about each with a link going to either a sub-folder or a sub-domain (I would choose sub-folder).
I would add as much useful content as possible along with social sharing tools to each app page with the title tag like: Free Football Game, App name | Company Name or something like that.
Keep it all under one roof, that is what I would do, others may do it differently.

Best Practices for home page design for ecommerce website
I know this question is not directly related to SEO, but I figured I have been getting some good help from this forum, so why not? The website is www.vrtack.com. I am looking to redesign the home page. It is an ecommerce website selling equestrian clothing and leather goods. My goals are: 1. Reduce the very high bounce rate and drop-off rate. 2. Fine tune the relevancy of the website towards a handful of keyword phrases. 3. Engage the visitor to create better click-through and to increase the average time spent on the page/site. 4. Page Loading time is of importance. It has to load quickly. I would love to hear some specific suggestions, examples, best practices.

The Best Wordpress Templates and The Best SEO Plugins??
Hey guys, I am a newbie and after so many painstaking hours of building my new site using the WIX platform, I just found out that WIX is not SEO friendly 😞 So referring to (copy n pasted) the old post below posted in by Big Bazza back in June 2011, does anyone agree or have any updated information they can assist me with so I can get my new site started ? SEO Searchable? Starting a New Forum for Company Community
Hi Mozzers, I'm new here and am looking forward to learning from this awesome group of SEOs As my company's Web Optimization Manager, I'm in charge of just about anything SEO related. We are an education company and we are looking to build a new forum so students (both new and old) and continue interacting within our community. We also want to use this as a tool for new users and potential new customers through search (obviously). We are in an internal debate as to how we should make the forums and the implications on search it may have. Some managers want the content available only to members, others want the content read-only to the public, and the tech team building the forum says that "it'll be an issue making the content available to the public without a log-in." So my questions are: (1) Will we still be searchable if we make our content "read-only" for non-members? Members will have the ability to log-in and comment and post etc (similar to this forum). (2) Will be searchable if we make the content completely private and available only to members. What I mean by private is perhaps, we'll make the title of the forum thread public but not the actual responses. Along these lines, what would happen if we made everything private (including the tite). Will Google still pick up on our content in a search result and a potential user only not be able to see anything? (3) What would you all suggest to make this flow the right way? Yes or No for Ampersand "&" in SEO URLs
Hi Mozzers I would like to know how crawlers see the ampersand (& or &) in your URLs and if Google frown upon this or not? As far as I know they purely recognise this as "and" is this correct and is there any best practice for implementing this, as I know a lot of people complained before about & in links and that it is better to use it as &, but this is not on links, this is on URLs. Reason for this is that we looking to move onto an ASP.Net MVC framework (any suggestions for a different framework are welcome, we still just planning out future development) and in order to make use of the filter options we have on our site we need a parameter to indicate the difference on a routing level (routing sends to controller, controller sends to model, model sends to controller and controller sends to view < this is pattern of a request that comes in on the framework we will be using). I already have -'s and /'s in the URLs (which is for my SEO structuring) so these syntax can't be used for identifying filters the user clicks or uses to define their search as it will create a complete mess in the system. Now we looking at & to say; OK, when a user lands on /accommodation and they selects De Kelders (which is a destination in our area) the page will be /accommodation/de-kelders on this page they can define their search further to say they are looking for 5 star accommodation and it should be close to the beach, this is where the routing needs some guidance and we looking to have it as follow: /accommodation/de-kelders/5-star&close-to-the-beach. Now, does the "&" get identified by search engines on a URL level as "and" and does this cause any issues with crawling or indexation or would it be best to look at another solution? What is the best way to point newly built website on new domain name to the original more well known domain?
Live website on abc.com domain is being totally redone and moved to a new platform. to facilitate full testing and compliance, the new look and content was built on a different url - xyz.com for example. Now that all content is approved and testing, we want people visiting the abc.com domain to see the xyz.com website without necessarily redirecting abc.com to xyz.com What is the best to do this? Having a new website build, what happens to my SEO work?

I need to buy a website template with seo focus - any tip? what technology is better?
Due to lack of resources, my company usually buys website templates and we adjust it internally. So we can always be with new designs, spending less money. With all this changes of google panda recently, I will change my website again. Usually we buy then from templatemonster, but some templates are far away from seo standards. Do you have tips where to buy than? Should I search for a specific technology or layout? Is this JS Animated website a goog choice?
