Where Do I Post to Hire SEO Experts
-
I am looking to hire an expert link builder who specializes in building very high-quality links and creating content that attracts links. There used to be a board on the site to post this to, but I cant find it anymore. What is the best way to find qualified SEO experts who are mozzers?

Hi Lawrence,
You're more than welcome - I hope the posts give you some actionable ideas for your campaigns whoever you decide to go with.
Of course! : )
Our website is www.designbysoap.co.uk - you can see our client list at www.designbysoap.co.uk/clients.
The website for SEOGadget is www.seogadget.co.uk
Thanks Lawrence, hope you have a nice weekend

Thanks or the response John. I'm just a little swamped today, but I will look over your posts over the weekend and get back to you. Do you have a website for the company or any other information that I could look over?

Hi Lawrence,
The SEOMoz list of recommended companies is a good place to start, some excellent companies on there. I would recommend SEOGadget (run by Richard Baxter), they're extremely good at what they do.
If it's purely high quality link-building and content creation that you're after then I can certainly help too, feel free to read my recent SEOMoz blog posts (as Collin suggests, a great way of finding reputable and knowledgeable companies) on content creation and infographic-based link-buidling:
http://www.seomoz.org/blog/indepth-guide-to-content-creation-with-infographic
http://www.seomoz.org/blog/getting-the-maximum-number-of-links-from-your-infographic
I don't tend to use the Q&A to plug my own company but from your description it sounds like we may really be able to help.
Thanks Lawrence, good luck with your search and feel free to get in touch any time.

I will also recommend search your field , see the companies that rank up in strong keywords and see if you have a way to contact the company that did the SEO (usually they did it long time ago and don't serve this customer anymore so they can help) that's how i get most of my work and people already have the trust as they see what we can do.
good luck
Mike

I would probably go about this by searching all blog and youmoz articles relating to link building. Click through the authors profiles and see where they work. Also try checking the profiles of commenters who may have insightful remarks.
This approach lets you read their blogs or articles before you make a decision on who to hire, as well as familiarizes yourself with the various tactics they're likely to try, all the while ensuring it's only mozzers you're looking at.

Blog commenting for SEO - Useful practice?
With most blog comments being no-follow, I was just wondering whether blog commenting for an SEO campaign these days was actually a worthwhile practice. Would love to get some insight on this.

What are Best Practices for Ault Site SEO
Has anyone here had experience doing SEO for an Adult DVD website? A company has approached me and they obviously only want White Hat practices. I have used open site explorer to do research on some competitors. The top competitors of this company seem to have only a few high PR links from High Authority industry sites and almost all have a link from the Yahoo Directory. Does anyone know where or how to create high authority content links from this niche? It seems that most of the competitor links are on sub par pages and are single links in the side nav of other sites. I am not sure if I can post a link to the company here but any suggestions on link building for adult sites would be great. Please remember they are a retailer and don't have pop up advertising or any illegal content. Thanks,

Is commenting on other peoples blogs / articles good for seo?
Hello everyone, Just a quick question, say if I find some websites which are relevant to my service and they have articles I can comment on and include my URL , will these help for SEO? The websites also have a good PR rating higher than 3 does this count towards anything? Would these links be classed 'follow' or 'nofollow' links - could something please explain what this means aswell. Thanks very much!

SEO in Africa
Hi everyone, I am a new danish SEOMOZ member currently living in Angola, Africa. I have created the site AngolaCarro.com - an online marketplace for cars. The website is in Portuguese, as this is the main language in Angola. I am struggling finding good Angolan/Portuguese sites for solid back links and I would be extremely thankful if anyone could give SEO advice on how/where to build strong links from Portuguese language sites. Will using dropmylink.com to create back links from English language sites to my Portuguese site be a waist of time or will it have a SEO effect? Thanks in advance and have a great Sunday. Ken

How important are directory submissions to my off-page SEO?
Hi Guys, One area of my link building that I carry out is looking for online directories and social bookmarking websites to submit my website to. I do this in order to gain some backlinks to my website. What I want to know is are they really worth my time, and if so, which types would you say are the most important? I have obviously been through many directory lists, both on SEOmoz and on other websites, and also performed various searches to find relevant directories to my website. I just feel that posting up a link that lies deep in a directory online that, more often than not, have very low PA and lots of outbound links will offer very little in terms of SEO. If anything, this could really bring down the quality of my links and be detrimental to my website, right? This is a subject that I have been thinking about for a while and especially with the recent algorithm update from Google and the attack on many web directories that are, lets say, 'not playing by the rules', I'm worried that this will have a negative impact for my website. Let me know your thoughts guys and if you have any tips on how to get higher quality links from these kind of submission then I'm all ears! Matt.

Can too many high PR links can hurt SEO
I recently accuired about 10 PR 4- 5 for my website after getting mostly PR 1-2 for the past 6 months. After a couple of day my rankings not only didn't go up, but actually went down really drasticly for many keyphrases that i used to rank at the top 3. Should i keep building those high PR links in the same fast pace, should i slow down? Or maybe i should even those out with some low PR link?
