Conflict in reported link data

I have a competitor in a campaign - the campaign report shows 181 linked domains
BUT - the site explorer report shows only 15 linked domains.
Which is correct? And if the site explorer is correct - how do we fix the campaign report?

And if the site explorer is correct - how do we fix the campaign report? You don't as it is accurate.
Your first 2 attachments are broken links. The issue can be seen in your 3rd and 4th attachment. The OSE report is showing the links to "this page" meaning your home page. Your campaign reflects all links to your entire site.

Hi I have a question about inbound external links The good news is that I have 135 inbound links showing up in open site explorer, where my main competitor has 4 The bad news is that these are not the links that I have been building myself. The links are sometimes in a foreign language, rarely in an entertainment category, which my website is, and there seems no way to add a link on the page. I did buy some links when I first started out, but I was advised not to do it again But these are clearly working despite their apparent lack of value Then the question is where are my web directory listings, social bookmarks, social media content and web 2.0 articles, and the links I found my competitor had, that I was able to add my own website on, I have manually grafted for these links, have I been wasting my time with all of these?.

Competitors links increasing rapidly
Hi there, I have 3 main competitors who I keep my eye on within Moz and I am always comparing pages as they are all sell similar products in the same way but we're increasingly getting more things put in place to make ourselves different, which is why we rank number 1 in the UK for their competitive keywords (without blowing my own trumpet!). One thing I have noticed, a competitor seems to be doing things the old school way. He has around 15 competitive keywords in his pages meta tag (irrelevant) and then has a huge 400 - 500 word description on each page describing whats on the page, what products are in that category (if it's a category page) or localised information if it's a company page. What seems to be odd, is that before penguin/panda their website had around 1,200,000 total links. Then after panda, he went down to around 300,000 total links. In the past few weeks I've noticed that he has gradually increased in total links from 300,000(estimate) to now 961,811 total links in a matter of weeks. Is this an error/glitch within Moz or is he doing something that may be classed as "blackhat" or is it something I shouldn't really be worrying about? Any feedback appreciated 🙂 Tom

NoFollow Links from Subdomain to root domain better than DoFollow Links?
Our service at fotograf.de is a shopsystem for professional photographers. The customers can build their own website with our tool including an onlineshop to sell their pictures. Here is my question: One part of the customers use subdomains of our site like photographers.fotograf.de. On each customer website we include a backlink to our homepage www.fotograf.de. From SEO view is it better to set these links as NoFollow Links? Or should we put one Follow Link on the starting page on each site and on the other pages only NoFollow Link? Are these links bad for our SEO regarding link diversity because they all come from one root domain? Thanks for the answers! Sebastian

Does MozAuthority calculates the MozAuthority of each incoming link?
Hey Mozzers! So as I'm checking MozAuthority as a primary parameter to determine if a co-operation with a website is worthwhile, I did notice that it's mainly based on QUANTITY of inbound links. My question is this: Does my site's MozAuthority calculates The same parameter from each incoming link? Example: My site, www.google.com, has 5 incoming links from low MozAuthority domains. Your site, www.facebook.com, has 5 incoming links from medium MozAuthority domains. His site, www.yahoo.com has 5 incoming links from high MozAuthority domains. Will the 3rd case necessarily have a higher MozAuthority than #1 and #2?

More than 100 links
Hi Everyone, I was trawling through You Tube and came across this video from Matt Cuts from Google about the 100 links limit being removed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6g5hoBYlf0&feature=relmfu I then logged into my SEO account as I remember a previous report we did for a competitor where they had quite a number of pages just over the 100 links, but only barely (They are highlighted in SEOmoz as a warning). Given that google has removed this number from their guidelines and it's clear that a few over 100 isn't as bad as it used to be, is it not about time this was changed or looked at again? Maybe even put ones like these under a new title such as recommendation rather that the alarmist Warning one unless it's ridiculously high? Why is Semoz sending me the wrong data
Hi i am very puzzled, i have just got a report saying about my keywords and the data seems to be wrong.It says that my keyword gastric band hypnotherapy is ranked at 9 but when i check online it is ranked at one. How often does Organic Traffic Data update?
The latest traffic I see is from week ending 2nd Jan 2011, this seems an overally long time to wait for a traffic update, given that tools such as Raven can provide live stats.
