Best SEO Link Building Company (textlinkbrokers.com or thinkbigsites.com) ?
-
We are looking into outsourcing the bulk of our link building.
And, so far, I am looking at two different SEO Agencies.
textlinkbrokers.com and thinkbigsites.com
Has anyone had any experience in working with either of these companies?
Has anyone had any great results with a different SEO Link Building Company?
Thanks!

Thanks for trying us out Nat. Drop me a line sometime (jarrod@textlinkbrokers.com) and let me know how everything is going. We are always looking for feedback.
Best,

I have been a professional SEO for 13 Years. I have ALWAYS wanted to work with textlinkbrokers but never had the budget. Now that I do, as of last week, I called them immediately and am about to begin a 3k per month campaign. Very much looking forward to working with some real pros.

Have a nice week.

Hey gang - sorry for my delay. As Keri noted; been a tough few days for me on the personal/family front.
Re: link building. My understanding is that Jarrod/TLB offer both the classic paid link services (at least I think they still do, not sure), which I'd be generally against and more white-hat style link outreach/content-marketing type link building, which I'd generally support. The former can be effective short-term, but can have dangerous results in the long run (Penguin's only the most recent example). The latter is usually of strong, lasting value, not just as a way to boost SEO, but as a way to help many inbound channels (referring link traffic, social media, branding, PR, etc).
Cheers,

Rand, if you do end up reading/replying to this, my apologies for evoking your name. I imagine that, with everything going on, you have better things to do then to defend our honor in a Q/A post :). If you do happen to respond though, thanks!
-
If you take a peek at Rand's twitter stream, you'll see that yesterday was a rather eventful day for him and it make take a few days before he has a few days to come into Q&A.
-
Glad to hear it. We have worked hard over the past couple of years to expand, and further improve our offerings. Thanks for checking us out.

HI Jarrod.
We have worked with TLB in the past (2 years ago) and it provided results.
With all the new Search Engine Updates, I wanted to be thorough in my search.
I already have a custom TLB Proposal from Josh B.
Thanks.

I will love to see Rand replying to this.:)

Greetings Full Spectrum,
I am one of the owners at TextLinkBrokers.
We would love to work with you.
In regards to our reputation I would point out the following:
- We have been doing link building for 10 years now
- A+ rated with the BBB. Which I believe is pretty amazing considering we have serviced over 30,000 clients and because of the nature of the business we are in.
- We are honest and transparent with everything we do.
- We have a larger lineup of link building services than any other company I know. If you have no risk tolerance and want to focus only on a link bait, link begging, and other types of content based link building, we can do that. Infographics? we do lots of those too.
- Yes we also do other types of link building that pure white hat SEO types may shy away from. Guest posting seems to be pretty popular with those types however, and we do more guest posting on higher quality sites than any other company I know of.
- If you have a bit more aggressive appetite we offer a ton of other very effective link building services and we have the experience to know how to do it without triggering over optimization and unnatural link filters.
- We also offer a full suite of other non link building services including Social Media Management, which goes really well with our content marketing programs.
PM me or send an email to jarrod@textlinkbrokers.com if you have any other questions. I have personally known Rand for a long time, and while he does not support the paid linking side of things he does recognize that we cater to all types.
Here is a testimonial from him:
"I've known Jarrod & the TLB crew for a long time. They've always had a great business that's provided value to their clients and partners." Rand
I'm not a huge fan of name dropping but this is Rand's site so...

Like Cornell said, there are much better ways to invest that monthly budget. You should look for a company that will work with your goals and create a strategy around getting your terms ranked.
There are many ways to earn links that will get quality traffic to your site.

This is something we can help you with, if you're interested, send me a message!

I know about penguin and panda.
So does textlinkbrokers and thinkbig.
textlinkbrokers worked in the past but I feel like thinkbigsites is more reputable.
"If you have $1800 to spend on SEO each month I think you can use them in better ways."
Any suggestions?
Because that's what I am looking for.
Thanks!

Hello,
http://www.textlinkbrokers.com/sell-links.html is in buying / selling links so that is a NO! NO! NO!
http://www.thinkbigsites.com/seo-seo-packages.html play the video (min 1:05) and they'll say "we own a big network of blogs and social bookmarking profiles" ... That's again a NO! NO! NO!
I suggest you read some blogs about the penguin and panda update ... just google it.
If you have $1800 to spend on SEO each month I think you can use them in better ways.

LinkDetective.com Dead? Link Classification Alternatives?
Is linkdetective.com officially dead? Does anyone know of any inexpensive tools that we can use to classify link types, e.g. resource link, blogroll, sidebar, etc. for link building?

Link Building
I'm having difficulty creating a solid link base. I would prefer to only have links that are on relevant sites that are likely to drive traffic rather then just adding my company page to site directories. I've checked out the whiteboard Friday edition of link building and have also used the new Moz analytics that helps recommend sites to link to, but all the recommendations were directories. So, could anyone hold my hand and guide me through the world of Link building? Your help, as always, is much appreciated. Thanks everyone Dave

I could use some help with Link Building Post Panda
I am new to Internet Marketing world and want to become a great SEO. My biggest challenge is How To of Back linking. Not the reason and theory behind back linking. But more the actual hands on Back linking strategy. I feel that a lot of the back linking information out there is so mixed.Rand did a White board Friday lesson on the new link building strategies. When searching for back linking strategies it is filled with all the old link building tactics. What I wanted to ask is all the experienced back link people is, Have you changed your back linking strategy. Or just parts of your strategies. It all seems very confusing for a newbie when it seems the industry it self is still uncertain. Any advice on where a newbie should be starting their new back linking strategy. And any good resources on learning to do the actual hands-on of the back linking. Thanks in advanced

Link Building & Juice
I have a corporate client which has multiple franchises, therefore microsites (www.example.com/cityname) within their corporate website(www.example.com). I am trying to build some links for these microsites that are lot weaker than the corporate web page in terms of PA. We worked hard putting most of these locations into local directories such as Google places and yahoo local, but the ones on yahoo local are all pointing to www.example.com even when you search a specific city when it suppose to be www.example.com/cityname. So first thought is to edit all of the yahoo locals to the microsite webpages for every locations but then I thought that wasn't a good idea since I will split the juice passed to the corporate website www.example.com. The corporate website is really important and wouldn't want to weaken its PA. Can someone tell me what are my options in order to not hurt the corporate website and to improve ranking for these weak microsites? should I still edit those yahoo listings to the microsite website or not? if not what how will I be able to build more links? Thank you!!

Best link building activities to increase velocity.
I'm running my own web based company selling security software. I'm a one man band and do the programming, web design, SEO etc. all myself. I've taken a very white hat approach so far and spend all my time writing guest posts and getting them published on tech blogs (I get 3-5 links per week doing this). The only tool I use is Buzzstream and I've been doing this for about 6 months now. I'm starting to see a few results but whenever I look at my competitors I see they have links from thousands of root domains. I feel like I need to increase my link building velocity with a new activity which will yield a much greater number of links than I am able to create using my guest posting strategy. I'm not keen to start spamming article directories or any other short term activity. I dedicate about 8 hours per week to SEO and I could afford to spend around $700 per month if necessary. Any help would be much appreciated.
