I have a website with similar products with different tld . I want to redirect a page for a keyword to another domain by using 301 redirect.Is it okay or google will consider as spam?Please help me out.

The 301 redirect helps Google remove duplicate content, so it is highly unlikely that it will be considered spam. If the two sites are similar but target different geo-locations, you might want to look up the rel="alternate" hreflang="" method...

Similar Keywords on Addon Domain

Hi all, I'm looking at setting up a second website targeting some similar keywords to my existing blog. I host the site through bluehost and am considering hosting the other website as an addon Domain. Whilst the content on both websites will be different both will target the same keywords. Does anyone know if because I'm targeting the same keys words using an addon Domain this could impact my existings site google rankings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reviews on Product Page or Separated

Good Afternoon We currently have our individual product information pages set-up with a link through to a separate review page optimised for the term "Product A Reviews" I was reading about structured data and if I read correctly, the reviews should sit with the marked up product data so I was wondering whether to merge them back into one page. We have many reviews so the review pages are paginated in blocks of 25 My options are: Leave as it is, product info page and separate review page Merge the review content back in to the main page and have the pagination work on that page Include the first 25 reviews on the product info page then when user clicks through to page 2, 3 etc they're taken to the separated review page. In that way the product page would regularly get new content and we can still have a page specifically targeted for reviews. From the users point of view, they probably aren't even aware they're being taken to a separate reviews page so with that in mind as I'm typing this maybe they should be one page again

Mobile website indexing

Hi we have a mobile version of our website at mobile.gardening-services-edinburgh.com its been live for 5, maybe 6 months, it has its own mobile-sitemap.xml have tried submitting this sitemap to google and for some reason it does not index these pages any ideas, most welcome

How do we keep Google from treating us as if we are a recipe site rather than a product website?

We sell food products that, of course, can be used in recipes. As a convenience to our customer we have made a large database of recipes available. We have far more recipes than products. My concern is that Google may start viewing us as a recipe website rather than a food product website. My initial thought was to subdomain the recipes (recipe.domain.com) but that seems silly given that you aren't really leaving our website and the layout of the website doesn't change with the subdomain. Currently our URL structure is... domain.com/products/product-name.html domain.com/recipes/recipe-name.html We do rank well for our products in general searches but I want to be sure that our recipe setup isn't detrimental.

How do I setup sitemaps for an international website?

I am adding translated versions of my sites to a subdomain for example es.example.com. Will I add each subdomain into Google Webmaster Tools? Will each need its own sitemap?

Two sides of my business

Hi, I have a website for my business which does nicely in the rankings. I have recently created a new separate website to target a specific niche area and have put this under a different URL. I'm going for a whole different look, feel, style and layout here so didn't want to just add a new page to my existing site. The content between the new and existing sites is 95% different, although my contact details (phone, email, address, etc) and some images/logos are the same. WIll Google mind this at all? Thanks!

Penalty on two primary keywords

Hi Seomoz, I have been strugling to get www.texaspoker.dk out of what seems to be a keyword specific penalty (we are on page 5 on "poker" and "online poker"). First I thought it was Penguin related, but I'm not so sure any longer. I have removed all the bad links to my site possible (it's not easy to get other people to remove links, I can tell you), and I have reported all the links that I would like google to "ignore" (reconsideration request) ... all in all I have requested for reconsideration 5 times, and - despite some small changes - I got the same answer every time. We violate the quality guide lines and we should be looking for unnatural links pointing to our site. If any one - by having a look at our site - have any idea what could be wrong, please don't hold back, we would love to hear your point of view. Right now we are in the middle of making our partners take off their site wide links to us (the partners you'll find if you click the flags to the right in the top of the home page). On Texaspoker.dk we only link to the partners from the home page, but maybe we should consider to take of even these links? No one is really clicking on them anyway. Another thing, which is only under consideration, is to ask our partners from Betxpert.com (with whom we have exchanged our news feed - you will find their feed if you schroll down the home page) to set the feed to "no follow" and do the same our selves. What do you think of this thought? As far as I can see, there is nothing wrong with the on page optimization, but maybe some one can see what I don't see? Again - what ever thoughts you guys may have - shoot ... i'm ready to take all bulets 🙂 Thanks in advance! Nicolai, Texaspoker.dk
