In Google Webmaster tools after doing a Google Fetch for our Blog which is showing Access Denied for 900+ pages this is the report that comes up and I wonder if this is causing the 900+ pages to show "Access Denied" and if so how to rectify it?

The page seems to redirect to itself. This may result in an infinite redirect loop. Please check the Help Center article about redirects.```

Blog on Custom Website - WordPress Alternatives

Howdy folks. I'm trying to find any good alternative for adding CMS blog to custom website. Most people, us included, are using WP, but, as we know, it's really painful to work with, easily hackable etc etc. So, I wonder if anyone knows of a blog platform, which can be installed on our own websites for blogging, but without drawbacks of WordPress. Any nudge in correct direction will be appreciated. Thanks!

Redirect wordpress.com and internal link ?

Hi Moz Fans, First of all, I need to say thanks to all of answer to previous post. And today i also have the another question that similar to that post. Because our website using Wordpress.org as our CMS for blog post then easier to redirect by point to new site, According to setting site URL ? However in our each blog articles also have anchor text as internal link that link to another blog post, Which mean those link will be automatic redirect to new URL. So once Google bot re-crawl our website when we tell the Google by webmaster tools and the redirection we using 301. What will be happen when Google Bot crawl those link again We need to changes those link as well Keep same with redirection. Nothing happen

Reasonable Time to Code Pop Up Forms in Wordpress?

My firm (a real estate brokerage) works with an offshore Argentinian developer who is generally very reliable and efficient. We have requested that three pop-up forms be implemented. The pop-up forms appear once visitors see a fixed number of property listings. Visitors will see form #1 after viewing three listings, form #2 after seeing another 3 listings and form #3 after another three listings. The pop-ups are in the form of a question. If the visitor clicks "Yes" the pop-up expands into a form, the visitor fills in the contact info and subsequent forms no longer appear. I have attached mock ups for the pop-up and the expanded pop-up. I am concerned about the 9 hours of programming time to implement these pop-ups. Is this excessive or is it reasonable? For me, it seems like this would be pretty quick and standardized to accomplish with a Wordpress plugin. But maybe with testing and other tasksI am wrong. I would appreciate some feedback on this. I do not want to underpay or overpay my developer. But I would feel reassured knowing that they are working productively and accomplishing tasks in a reasonable amount of time. Specs provided by my developer below: | 1- We have to implement the popup (based on approved mockup)
2- We need to implement the form to be included into each popups (3) and validate proper data
3- we need complete the logic for cookies's status.
4- Cross-devise testing for those popups. This way not allow that you update the content, we need set a field in data base or think how can do this if you want. | I look forward to your feedback. THANKS, Alan XRZUaEi bBdqsAq

Wordpress to HubSpot CMS - I had major crawl issues post launch and now traffic is down 400%

Hi there good looking person! Our traffic went from 12k visitors in july to 3k visitors in july. << www.thedsmgroup.com >>When we moved our site from wordpress to the hubspot COS (their CMS system), I didnt submit a new sitemap to google webmaster tools. I didn't know that I had to... and to be honest, I've never submitted or re-submitted a sitemap to GWT. I have always built clean sites with fresh content and good internal linking and never worried about it. Yoast kind of took care of the rest, as all of my sites and our clients' sites were always on wordpress. Well, lesson learned. I got this message on June 27th in GWT_http://www.thedsmgroup.com/: Increase in not found errors__Google detected a significant increase in the number of URLs that return a 404 (Page Not Found) error. Investigating these errors and fixing them where appropriate ensures that Google can successfully crawl your site's pages._One month after our site launched we had 1,000 404s on our website. Ouch. Google thought we had a 1,200 page website with only 200 good pages and 1,000 error pages. Not very trust worthy... We never had a 404 ever before this, as we added a plugin to wordpress that would 301 any 404 to the homepage, so we never had a broken link on our site, which is not ideal for UX, but as far as google was concerned, our site was always clean. Obviously I have submitted a new sitemap to GWT a few weeks ago, and we are moving in the right direction... **but have I taken care of everything I need to? I'm not sure. Our traffic is still around 100 visitors per day, not 400 per day as it was before we launched the new site.**Thoughts?I'm not totally freaking out or anything, but a month ago we ranked #1 and #2 for "marketing agency nj", now we aren't in the top 100. Help with Best Content Posting Approach - WordPress site

I have a word document that i would like to add to my wordpress site as a page. The document has a large detailed flow chart of a complex legal process. (about 20+ boxes in the flow chart). I do not want to add it as an image because i want search engines to read/index the information in the flow chart. any suggestions to post this detailed flow chart on a WP page in the best SEO manner? Multilingual blog in wordpress needs URL suggestion

I am working on a multilingual blog build in WordPress.From the first day I see the URL structure getting abrupt when I add an article in other language.
