Does SEOmoz work for fully secure sites (https)?

We have created a large file sending service (https://digitalpigeon.com) and for obvious reasons we have secured the entire site (we used to have a trial file send form on the homepage so it made sense to secure everything with 301 redirects from http to https)
Because we, somewhat naively, started out with a memorable name and domain - Digital Pigeon - where all of our competitors just keyword stuffed their domains we don't really rank for any useful keywords yet.
For me, building domain authority via links is more important right now that any on page SEO that is going to be trumped by google's infatuation with domain keywords anyway.
Here's the problem though, it seems SEOmoz and even Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools all fail to take into account inbound links for both http and https for any reports or analysis!
I'm wondering if utilising SEOmoz PRO for keeping tabs on our MozRank is pointless if it's not accounting for all inbound links

Hi Jim! This is actually in the works as we speak! We should have OSE working with https in the next month or so.

Any updates on this? I noticed it was still not working, so wondering if we should look at other solutions.

This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team. Your question is a great one! While we won't be able to crawl your site in OSE, we will be able to crawl links going to your site, which are used to calculate our metrics. So, in other words, the metrics in your competitive link analysis will be accurate. You can also check out www.opensiteexplorer.org for more details on these links.

Thanks, I appreciate that OSE wont work for https but more importantly to me (and probably more a question for the SEOmoz team) are the link stats and therefor MozRank stats found in our Competitive Domain Analysis report accurate or do they exclude our https inbound links?
Or is it all one and the same, because Linkscape ignores https links all the tools making use of it are skewed by this limitation and I should perhaps save my $100/month for now until https in implemented?

The last I heard https support for OSE was planned for Q4 of 2012. Please refer to Adam's responses in these two posts:

If you need to view https data now, you will need to use a different tool. I know AHREFs supports it: http://ahrefs.com

Is it possible to block Moz from crawling sites?
Hi, is it possible to stop Moz from crawling a site at the server level? Not that I am looking to do this or anything, but here's why I'm asking. I have been crawling a site that is managed (currently by 2 parties), and I noticed that this week pages crawled went from 80 (last week) to 1 page!! I know, what? See my image attached... and the issues all went to zero "0"....! So is it possible that someone can't prevent Moz from crawling the site at the server level? To all the Mozzers reading this, I joined SEOMoz in a panic when we were seeing the first hints of an impending ranking crisis for our company website in October, 2012. We tanked in late December for our most important keywords. Simply GONE. Holy C---! It was devastating to say the least. Thankfully, we have a lot of work due to current clients and referrals, but the phone got quiet. That's a deadly sound.15 years of comfort zone gone. I still don't know precisely why it happened, it may have been a number of factors. But I've learned a huge amount through this crisis and can honestly say that I'm glad it happened. How weird is that? But what other fire under my butt would have gained me so much curiosity, fascination, engagement and excitement with deepening my scant knowledge? A week ago, we got our first report showing us that we have now gotten back our positions on page 1 for the 10 keywords that matter. It's continuing to improve according to today's report. So now that I've gotten somewhere- and I am well aware that it may not stick and there is still more to do -it's time to shout out a great big "Thank You". Truly, I don't think I could have survived this situation without SEOMoz and all you wonderful Mozers answering my frantic questions and lending your expertise and support to my situation. It wasn't only my own questions and the responses to those that helped me through this. I have been essentially addicted to reading a vast majority of all the posted questions because it's so dang interesting. So I've been learning bucketfuls from other people's questions and responses. My own personal SEOMoz education. It's only just begun. What an incredible culture and community we have here. I feel I can say "we" now because I am beginning to feel a part of it. And I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I love this place. Thank you!

What do I do about accessing open site explorer?
I am stuck in the redirect loop which seems to have become commonplace when seeking to access open link explorer... I have cleared my cache. I have reset and restarted my browser. help with the inbound links side of seomoz
Hi Can somebody help with the inbound links tool of seomoz, can you point me in the direction of how it works and the best practices to get the most from it. I know i have a lot more inbound links to the site in my campaign but its shows for example 114 links but when i click on show more it only shows 3 . am i doing something wrong? Any help and advice from how people use it , what for and what is best practice thanks.

Open site Explorer Findings??
On OSE, I am comparing two websites(A and B) and one has a page authority higher than the other (35(A) vs 36 (B)), but all the linking metrics are in favor for website A except for the linking C block (A has 11 and B has 12). The website B is ranked in page 1 for couple competitive keywords whereas the website A don't show up in the search at all. Why is that? Does B have better content and is more kw focused?
