Canonical URLs for Search Parameters
-
Hi Guys
Our seomoz campaign report is returning a lot or Rel Canonical issues similar to this for each page. The non / version redirects to the / version but how do I get the ones with search parameters ie '?datefrom&nights' to redirect.

I'm not seeing any evidence that Google is indexing multiple versions, and your canonical tags appear to be correct. Practically speaking, I think you're ok here.
I'd make sure that you're at least linking consistently (internally) to the "/" version and not both the "/" and no-slash version. If you're using both links, it could confuse crawlers (and our tools). Your search parameters should be ok, though. I don't see any evidence that those have been indexed. See this query:
site:lamangaclubresort.co.uk inurl:datefrom

Just checked and found we do have the canonical tag on our pages
Does this mean that I can ignore the reported canonical issue in the Seomoz report?

Is BigCommerce a good CMS for Improving Search Visibility for our E-Commerce Business?
We have recently moved from Wordpress to BigCommerce and have noticed a decline in our Search Visibility score on MOZ. Following the recommendations of IT consultants, we were under the impression that moving to BigCommerce would significantly improve our Search Visibility. We were wondering if there is anyone out there who is currently using or have used BigCommerce and had similar issues? Any personal reviews/recommendations would be much appreciated! 🙂 Thanks!

Pages with URL Too Long
Hello Mozzers! MOZ keeps kindly telling me the URLs are too long. However, this is largely due to the structure of E-commerce site, which has to include 'brand' 'range' and 'products' keyword. For example -
Moz Pro | | tigersohelll
https://www.choicefurnituresuperstore.co.uk/Devonshire-Rustic-Oak-Bedside-Cabinet-1-Drawer-p40668.html MOZ recommends no more than 75 characters. This means we have 25-30 characters for both the brand name and product name. Questions:
If it is an issue, how to fix it on my site?
If it's not an issue, how can we turn off this alert from MOZ?
Anyone know how big an issue URLs are as a ranking factor? I thought pretty low.0 -

Long URLs
My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/ Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks. Why do pages with canonical urls show in my report as a "Duplicate Page Title"?
eg: Page One
Moz Pro | | DPSSeomonkey
<title>Page one</title>
No canonical url Page Two
<title>Page one</title> Page two is counted as being a page with a duplicate page title.
Shouldn't it be excluded?0 -
Localized Search Results
I provide SEO for local service providers therefore I am mostly interesting in ranking highly in the "localized results" SERPs. Is anyone familiar with any good tools, infographics, blogs, or webinars that could be of benefit? How big of a radius do the localized results usually encompass? Are the keyword ranking reports from SEOmoz even relevant for reporting purposes? Should I include the city name (i.e. "Seattle Doctor", "Doctor in Seattle", "Doctor Seattle", etc.) in my keyword research or is this becoming less relevant? Any insight is welcome and appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

I don't get what a dynamic URL is?
I have a whole bunch of them and I have no idea how I created them. I just make titles, that's it. Nothin' fancy.
