Google 'Author' tag question (Guest Blogging)

Hi,
It seems like im seeing more and more about the Author tag, its now in Webmaster Tools and Google+.
If your guest blogging, is it a good idea to include the Author link back to your Google+ account? If your Google+ account is also connected to your website and Google confirms they can see the connection does the Author links help with ranking when you push them back to the connected Google+ account?

Yes the Google Author tag lets Google know that you are a reputable source. It gives you as a user authority/credibility. IMO your Google + page has a PR and even though there is no case studies on this yet, I would bet that it helps your site gain authority.

Linkedin question
Hello Mozzers, In April we split our company in two, creating a new company in the process. We updated our Linkedin company page with the new branding etc, but I can't find anywhere we can change the url, which is still the old company trading style name. I've sent a support ticket to Linkedin, but I don't expect an answer all that fast so was wondering if any of you had experience with this problem and could point me in the right direction? I am going to change my blog from subdomain to subdirectory. Will I lose all my shares data (plugin)?
Hi there, I am going to change my current blog from subdomain to subfolder. Obviously, I am going to apply a permanent redirection (301) since all URL will change...I have a doubt related to all share bottoms. Currently I use plugins in order to show the total number of shares (on Facebook...on Twitter etc.) of my posts. So, by changing all URLs, will I lose all my data? I mean, would It be possible to save them? Thanks in advance for helping!! Kind regards. Francesca

Google Pus Places, page and youtube issues. PLEASE HELP!!!
Ok I have a youtube channel, a page connected to that and I have a business listing but I cannot get all three to work together. My questions are: How would I check that Google is aware of my Facebook activity and similarly of my Twitter and Pinterest work? Twitter Tool Question
I've been searching for a tool that will allow me to send mass tweets to multiple @accounts? For example, I use Topsy to see who's shared my content and want to send a follow up tweet to everyone who has, but find it time-consuming to do this manually. What I have in mind is something where I can upload a spreadsheet of Twitter names, write one tweet and for this to be tweeted at everyone on the list. I haven't found what I'm looking for so far. Does anyone know of such a tool?

Outreach person different than guest post write
Hello, For a current client of mine, the person doing the outreach (me) and the person who is going to write the guest post (expert) are different people. Also, the expert doesn't want their real name published. They're going to use their first and middle name instead of first and last. How do I taylor my outreach and link building to accommodate the above two facts? BTW: The expert's picture is on the site if that helps, in an "Ask the Expert" menu tab Thanks

Where is the Link Site button on Google+?
I want my content authors to be able to associate their work with their Google+ profile. I read about an update rolled out in June that included a Link Site function on the Edit Profile -- About Tab. I don't see where to do this. Can anyone help me figure out how to enable this function?
