How about combining gaming elements along with leader board type tracking of progress. Kind of like launching a campaign for a site (but now it will be called a game). You progress as if playing a game and the result is your site gets "SEO'd."The beautiful part about this, you track where other users get stuck / give up and how others have overcome these difficulties - share this data as part of the game. Build a big enough user base and what do you get? Precise answers to the hardest of SEO questions -> e.g. why did my rankings fall? because you did this, this and this! incoming thunder cats reference Machine learning Ho!
I wouldn't suggest this idea to anyone but SEOmoz - it's hard but is totally doable for someone who created open site explorer.

One person's personalization can be another person's tracking and invasion of privacy. On a serious note, do you have some ideas for personalization that aren't as intrusive?

Personally I find those forum automated birthday emails annoying, why would you care if a forum (or more specifically a php script) wished you happy birthday?

I want to track a "rootdomain" that has two languages on it, the english version is in a subfolder /en/ 1. http://website.de

= as Root Domain
But as there are links to the /en/ Subfolder these data will also be included in all reports. And there is still no option in SEOmoz PRO to exclude folders or even urls.?! This will be bad when wanting a clear report of just one Language Version. 2. http://website.de/en as campaing EN - english
To track as "Subfolder" will not work beacause this option will only consider exactly this subfolder... So is there a way to see data just only for one language Version?0 -
I'm shocked! KEYWORD SERPs: GA avg. position vs. SEOmoz
SEOmoz has us our position for a particular keyword as "Not in Top 50". The same keyword is listed in GA with an average position of. 3.0. What am I missing here? When I do a search, I most definitely am not seeing us listed as #3 for this keyword, and tend to believe the SEOmoz number, but why is it so wildly different in GA? Should I have hope? There is another keyword that SEOmoz has us at #4 and it isn't even on the GA list. Can anyone explain this to me? Many thanks.

Is it possible to submit a page to the seomoz index?
We recently got added to dmoz and botw and would like to see those links considered in our domain authority as we are tracking our progress and comparing ourselves to other sites. Is it possible to submit links to the seomoz index manually to have those tracked? (If I am even understanding this correctly)

Why does it take so long for SeoMoz to update data?
I changed the Anchor Text of 4 40/100 MozRank sites 2 months ago, yet SeoMoz still shows the old Anchor text in the reports. Why is this taking so long? I also notice my inbound domains hasn't increased nor has my MozRank in 3-4 weeks. What's the turnaround?

Has anyone else not had an SEOmoz crawl since Dec 22?
Before the holidays, I completed a website redesign on an eCommerce website. One of the reasons for this was duplicate content. The new design has removed all duplicate content. (Product descriptions on 2 pages) I took a look at my Crawl Diagnostics Summary this morning and this is what I saw: Last Crawl Completed: Dec. 15th, 2011 Next Crawl Starts: Dec. 22nd, 2011 Thinking it might have something to do with the holidays. Although, I would like to see this data as soon as possible. Is there a way I can request a crawl from seomoz ? Thanks, John Parker

Duplicate page error from SEOmoz
SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnostics is complaining about a duplicate page error. I'm trying to use a rel=canonical but maybe I'm not doing it right. This page is the original, definitive version of the content: https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/sent-2011-10-01 This page is an alias that points to it (each month the alias is changed to point to the then current issue): https://www.borntosell.com/covered-call-newsletter/latest-issue The alias page above contains this tag (which is also updated each month when a new issue comes out) in the section: Is that not correct? http://www.seomoz.org/labs/lda Does anyone presently use this tool as a regular part of their SEO analysis? Does anyone have any updates regarding this tool? It is still in the lab despite no updates for over 6 months. Is it being retired? Or promoted to production? If you do use the tool, what % of relevance is your goal when optimizing pages?
