Is there a tool I can use to check backlink profiles against each other

Hi,
Does anyone know of a tool where I can compare 2 (or more) backlink profiles to check common linking domains.
It is one of those things that I know I have seen somewhere before but cant remember for the life of me where!

Sure,
Ontolo does this fairly well with data from OpenSiteExplorer. It is also possible to do it with excel &vlookups, this will probably be the only option that won't cost you more $$. The domain comparison is an often overlooked little trick, even SEO Elite included this comparison view back when we were all pulling links from Yahoo's index.
If you run the clique hunter in MajesticSEO, you'll even get a pretty little bubble chart though

I've looked through a few questions relating to backlinks not showing up in Open Site Explorer and I've got the same problem. I want to understand whether my backlinks aren't showing in SEOmoz due to a lag time (some say 5 - 8weeks) or because google hasn't indexed them.

Info on paid links and damage they can do?
I'm kind of new to SEO and have the following question. If you're say a wedding supplier and are looking to get listed on some of the many online weddings directories out there, for example: http://www.thebridalfile.co.uk Most of these sites charge for an ad with a link, would this come under the banner of paid links and therefore be damaging form an SEO point of view? Nearly all wedding directories generate a substantial part of their revenue from these types of ads. Obviously the ad itself will generate traffic but I'm wondering whether the search engines will see these as paid links which will be penalised? or is this different to simply paying someone to get your links on their network of sites which, as I understand it, is the issue that google have with paid links? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Easiest way to build backlinks?
I am working on lancing sites to get projects and my workers are not of that caliper to give each client Info-graphics/Guest blogging. Other than great great content.Whats the easiest way I can still apply with great care to build backlinks. -Forum posting on relevant sites with great care.Only relevant areas changing anchortext. -Blog posts with minimum OBL. -Web 2.0 properties with unique content. -Press release with open URL. -Directory submission on PR sites. -Article submission on Ezine and other article sites. -yahoo and other answering sites. Are these linkbuilding methods still I can use by giving value to others.Not add thanks this this that but working on proper relevant replies adding value.

A backlinks question
Hi all Could do with a second opinion on this one if anyone has a moment please. Recent Google updates have targeted overally optimised backlink profiles as they are clearly for seo purposes and not natural. The question I have is how does this relate to an ecommerce website? If I sell 'blue 1980 aged cheese' (I know nothing about cheese so perhaps not the best example!!) and I have a url on my shop domain.com/store/blue-1980-aged-cheese with the product name as the page title along with the domain name. Â If I were to get backlinks pointing to this page using the anchor of 'blue 1980 aged cheese' (and other variations of that, blue cheese, aged blue cheese etc) would this be considered to be too optimised? Given the page is about this item then surely it could be considered natural that people link using the product name, as well as using the site name and the domain url Any thoughts please Thanks, Carl

What is the best pinging service for my backlinks?

New pages backlinking
Hello there, I have created a website that with some basic link building has been appearing nicely in location based keywords, eg, computer repairs flintshire, this was easy enough to achieve as the competition wasnt great, just wish i has these on page seo tools 6 months ago! my question is this - i am trying to get similair results in other location based keywords, eg, computer repairs chester and computer repairs wirral. What i have done is created a new page dedicated to each keyword, making sure that there is no duplicate content ect ect, the on page SEO is perfect and i am already on the first page for a couple i have done. so i have a url that now is http://www.ep-networks.co.uk/computer-repairs-chester.php

Has anyone seen the benefits of adding backlinks back to their main site on their facebook page? Also, what about uploading a bunch of pictures of your products onto facebook, and on each picture putting the link directly to that specific product? Anyone know if there is any benefit in doing this? Thanks...
