Where do these error 404 pages come from

Hi,
I've got a list of about 12 url's in our 404 section on here which I'm confused about.
The url's relate to Christmas so they have not been active for 9 months.
Can anyone answer where the SeoMoz crawler found these url's as they are not linked to on the website.

I ran your site through ScreamingFrog which threw up 20 URLs that through 40x errors.
http://www.farmison.com/christmas is linked to from http://www.farmison.com/community/blog/christmas-with-farmison/
Also take a look at http://www.farmison.com/community/blog/christmas-cheese-competition/ which links to some removed pages.
The /christmas URL should not 404 you should either 301 redirect it somewhere or leave it online ready for this Christmas!

Normally it means you've got a rogue links somewhere. Are you sure there's not a link lurking somewhere?
If you save your Crawl Diagnostics as a csv file, you'll be able to filter by the 4XX Client Error column (=True) and then see the referring page in the far right hand column. This should tell you the page with the rogue link!

Duplicate Page Titles & Content
We have just launched a new version of a website and after running it through SEOMOZ we have over 6000 duplicate title & content errors. (awesome) 😕 We have products that show up multiple times under different URLs however we "thought" we had implemented the rel=canonical correctly. My question is - do these errors still show up in SEOMOZ despite the canonical tags being there OR if they were "correct" would we be getting "zero" errors?

Image Asset pages shown to have Page Authority
When looking at top pages for my site in www.opensiteexplorer.org I'm seeing a bunch of asset pages being listed to have page authority. How could this be? Is open site explorer mistaken? Only one page has been crawled
I am running a campaing for three weeks now and first two crawls was ok but the last one is showing only one page crawled. the subdomain I am tracking is: www.cubaenmiami.com I have everything correct in my site. Regards Alex

Crawl Errors Confusing Me
The SEOMoz crawl tool is telling me that I have a slew of crawl errors on the blog of one domain. All are related to the MSNbot. And related to trackbacks (which we do want to block, right?) and attachments (makes sense to block those, too) ... any idea why these are crawl issues with MSNbot and not Google? How come when I export a error list I can only export the first page?
I am working on fixing the 4xx errors. I have found the easiest way to do this would be to export the list, print it out, and check off the ones i've fixed. Redirecting duplicate .asp pages??
Hi all, I have a bit of a problem with duplicate content on our website. The CMS has been creating identical duplicate pages depending on which menu route a user takes to get to a product (i.e. via the side menu button or the top menu bar). Anyway, the web design company we use are sorting it out going forward, and creating 301 redirects on the duplicate pages. My question is, some of the duplicates take two different forms. E.g. for the home page: www.<my domain="">.co.uk

www.<my domain="">.co.uk/index.asp</my></my></my> Now I understand the 'index.html' page should be redirected, but does the 'index.asp' need to be directed also? What makes this more confusing is when I run the SEOMoz diagnostics report (which brought my attention to the duplicate content issue in the first place - thanks SEOMoz), not all the .asp pages are identified as duplicates. For example, the above 'index.asp' page is identified as a duplicate, but 'contact-us.asp' is not highlighted as a duplicate to 'contact-us.html'? I'm a bit new to all this (I'm not a IT specialist), so any clarification anyone can give would be appreciated. Thanks, Gareth0
