How come this blog post of mine which got lots of links has not been picked up by Open Site Explorer:

Hi David,
OSE usually takes a few updates to include more recent links. Do not worry about the link not showing up in OSE, it doesn't mean you are not being considered by Google. OSE is just an FYI tool, and won't always be able to gather exactly all links.

Are tags in blogs worth anything in SEO value these days and can i remove duplicate title tags?
I have around 12 duplicate tags in the blog and the general consensus is to noindex./nofollow the tag pages which is not an awful way to do things. Should I just arrange my tags better or remove them all together? I believe it's the fact that the same page can be accessed by 3 different url's because of the tags it's under and that in the tag urls, only teaser descriptions of the posts are being display, not the full post, but the seomoz tools still consider it as duplicated content.

Crawl Diagnostics 2261 Issues with Our Blog
I just recently signed up for MOZ, so much information. I've done the walk through and will continue learning how to us the tools. But I need your help. Our first moz crawl indicated 2261 issues (447 404's, 803 duplicate content, 11 502's, etc). I've reviewed all of the crawls issues and they are linked to our Yahoo hosted WordPress blog. Our blog is over 9 years old. The only issue that I'm able to find is our categories are not set up correctly. I've searched for WordPress assistance on this topic and cant find any issues with our current category set up. Every category link that I click returns Nothing Found Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. How to change a Discussions post to a Question
I've opened two discussions recently but they really happen to be more like questions. Poor OSE results on my links
I am really disappointed with the "return on investment" I am getting from being a Pro member and using Open Site Explorer to analyze and remedy my inbound links post-penguin. My site has been crawled for over 4 months now by seomoz and OSE reprots that I have "external links" from just 25 or so domains - whereas Google webmaster tools has accurately identified well over 270 domains that link back to my site. How can do any sort of link removal strategy using open site explorer? I am paying $100/mo for SEomoz, and nothing for Google. What is the problem?

Can we add sites to the crawl queue for OSE?
Is it possible to request that Open Site Explorer crawls a new URL on its next run? This tool is the first place I go to when working on a new site, and when there is "No Data Available" this is a little frustrating. I fully appreciate that this lack of data is usually a signal that the website is either very new or of low quality, however that if often the reason that I am brought in and would very much like to benchmark and provide initial analysis using this tool. It would make sense that OSE crawls the sites that Moz members are working on wouldnt it? Scott.

Tons of Crappy links in new OSE (Open Site Explorer)
I am starting to miss the old OSE. I've found that for a lot of the pages on our site, the new OSE is showing WAY more links and most of them are garbage nonsense links from China, Russia, and the rest of the internet Wild West. For instance, in the old OSE, this page used to show 9 linking domains: http://www.uncommongoods.com/gifts/by-recipient/gifts-for-him It now shows 454 links. Some of the new links (about 5 of them) are legitimate. The other 400+ are garbage. Some are porn sites, most of them don't even open a web page, they just initiate some shady download. I've seen this for other sites as well (like Urban Outfitters) This is making it much harder for me to do backlink analysis on bc I have no clue how many "Normal" links they have. Is anyone else having this problem ? Any way to filter all this crap out ? See attached screenshot of the list of links I'm getting from OSE. NHXnn
